Best Buy pre orders

then by that logic every preorder would be there Friday?
If you pre-ordered for shipping then I would guess either today or tomorrow you should see updates. Today is likely, tomorrow definitely. Also depends on what what arrival date you chose
Should be depending upon the availability of the specific color, carrier and storage size and demand. They cannot fill something limited like the rose gold perhaps but I would not know why any BB warehouse would get any of those and ship to any store for walk in purchases obviously without the preorders getting allocated first directly.
Never had any problem with preordering at BB. If they don't get it in time, it was probably either limited or a delay with the carrier (AT&T I think I remember isn't the best when it comes to reliability on preorders).
Does anyone know if I call in later tomorrow night, will they tell me if they have enough in stock to cover the pre orders?
I ordered for EXPEDITED on the night of launch. It said pre-order release is 9/25 and would arrive via EXPEDITED on 9/28. But since almost everyone ships overnight 2-day from China/HK on 9/23 or 9/24, should we anticipate could come on 9/25 launch day or do we think they will show up on 9/28? Anyone seeing status for shipped direct orders from BBY?

And I selected expedited shipping since it was free (Best Buy Elite Member) and it said "expected delivery 9/29/15" before I checked out.

Negative. They go to our local DC warehouse which its then distributed to all the stores in that region. Apple also does drop ship phones to us at times,but the majority of the devices will come in on our trucks.
I preordered yesterday afternoon in store and they told me that I was the very first person to preorder a 64gb rose gold for AT&T in the 6S Plus. They said only one preorder for a 64gb rose gold in the regular 6S AT&T.
I just want to know if there is anyway to know before friday if I will get mine from best buy!?

All iPhone preorders at my local mobile store get delivered by UPS, not a BB truck. Been that way for years.
Go there Thursday night, you can call but it might be better to go there. FWIW if I remember correctly you should get an email notification that it would be ready for pickup on Friday. My store also said I would get a call to sent up an appointment time for Friday.
That may be for your district,I just know ours are delivered by our warehouse trucks and some dropped shipped.

Yes, If you get an email,Call the store first to make sure its in. You dont know how many times myself included we accidentally scanned the phones in the system and it was assigned to the wrong person.
Well Is my best buy to go down before closing thursday night? Think they will straight up tell me if I will have one the following day or not?
If it comes in on the truck then no because our warehouse team doesn't unload the truck until after the store closes. Im working Friday morning,this is how ive been told its going to go. When I get in I have to check with AP (Security) as they will have the phones,by this time a manager should of scanned them into our system and accepted the shipment. We have a list that has everyones name and what phone they preordered,I now start matching phones to the names on the list as the orders been placed,once this is done a email will be generated letting you know that your order is ready for pick up and you should also get a phone call from a mobile employee as well confirming your phone is in and will set up an appointment for you to come in and set up your phone. We have no idea what phones are coming in,how many. For all I know we wont get any. ( I pray this wont happen).
