I have a Saharacase and it fits beautifully.

I have the Caudabe Lucid Clear and am very happy so far. I also put a glass screen protector on the display.

Check their Twitter replies—they stated the X case should come out near the release date. Which may or may not be accurate, knowing PS.

I kind of get the feeling they’re on the verge of going out of business or something. They’re not very active on any social media and they don’t seem to push their products very much. Also, they haven’t had their products in Apple stores for a minute now. Seems like they’re living off their former reputation and not trying to grow.

Not a Twitter guy but their website finally added a sentence for iPhone 8 stuff...still nothing for the X. I haven't used anything but them for films and cases on everything (except my iPod classic) until I bought my 8 - don't like the AJ changes they made for the 7/8 so I've been forced to go elsewhere and do something different this time around (Apple/Peel). Seems things started to go south when they released the AJ for the 6 and everyone complained with how difficult it was to remove (yeah it was tough but I didn't have too much trouble with it nor mind it).

The Caudabe is a fairly hard case. Do any of you see hairline scratches on the stainless steel bands caused by repeated on/off of the case and rubbing of the hard edge? The TPU don't look as nice but they will not scratch the stainless that may be more susceptible to scratching than aluminum. I'm afraid to put mine on.

I don't have an X, but I have an iPod classic from 2009 with the stainless steel back that has been in a very tight fitting clear hard polycarbonate case. It has been in and out probably 50+ times over the last 8 years to clean the iPod/case, and despite the harsh sliding in and out of the plastic case, the finish of the stainless is flawless, so I'd expect similar from the X. Don't think it will be a problem as long as you clean lint out regularly. Here are some pics (note there are some scratches on the back of the iPod but those are in the protective film on the back, NOT the iPod itself - the steel that is not under the film is virtually flawless, and you can see how I basically have to push the iPod down into the "cradle" bottom of the case, which takes a good bit of force). Also note the little smudges you can see are just that - not scratches.

Every clear case I have gotten has gotten nasty looking pretty quickly. I would love to find one that will hold up. I purchased the Otterbox symmetry clear. We will see how it goes. Any other recommendations?

I picked up a clear Symmetry today too; I had a cheap but nice clear case I got from Amazon which was a little too flimsy. So far so good on the Symmetry, someone said the bottom front lip prevents or hinders swiping up but I don’t experience that at all.

Curious to hear more feedback on the Otterbox Symmetry.

Don't get it. I made a post about my experience just recently. Basically the case is so tight that you'll damage your phone trying to get it in.

The Otterbox Symmetry is currently defective. Look at my recent thread.

It was a tight fit, sure, but I was able to get it on and off in Best Buy comparing it to the clear Speck Presidio. The Symmetry and the Presidio were both good, I just found the Presidio to be a little slippery. Sorry you had issues with the Symmetry, I’m enjoying mine so far.

Anyone with a Caudabe Lucid Clear from a previous phone that can speak to the lip on the bottom of the phone/case? Seems like that would be a real dealbreaker for the X and the swipe home gesture.

There is barely a lip on the case. I saw some others mention this already on the thread - some may prefer having a more pronounced lip for screen protection. Personally, I like how Caudabe has designed this case. Like you said, having a heavily pronounced lip would definitely interfere with the gestures - and there are so many gestures along the edge of the screen for the X, including the swipe up to get home, swipe down along the Home bar for Reachability, swipe left and right along the Home bar to multitask, swipe down from the top left and right for Notification and Control Center. Am I still a little anxious about the screen cracking if the phone fell? Sure, but I figured I have AppleCare if anything terrible happens.

Over the last 24 hours I’ve had with the Caudabe case, I’d say you’d have a hard time finding a case that better allows for the gestures (that is, unless, you go for a case that is essentially for the back of the phone and has zero lip).

Check their Facebook page. Looks like jackets for the X will release on the 10th. Can’t wait to take this awful, thick Apple leather case back for a refund.

Another vote for Power Support Air Jacket. Quality. Polish. Super thin.

I got a Tech 21 case. Not sure what I was thinking. It’s only my first day using it and I hate it.

I’d take a raised front lip and a cut out section along the bottom near the lightning port - like the Apple leather cases

The only edge you'd need to worry about is the bottom one - the top one can have a lip as the swipe down gestures aren't from the top edge but from the 'ears' which are well down from the edge.

Although some users are saying even a bottom lip doesn't interfere too much with gestures.

Anyway, i'd rather have a lip on at least 2 edges (sides) because placing the phone face down will be something I do regularly.

Incipio feather pure on a silver iPhone X is the best clear case on any phone that I saw up close in person. The case is very slim and the materials feel like quality unlike some other cases that don’t have that same shiny effect.

I can’t help but think adding a 0.5-1mm lip wouldn’t interfere with gestures but would give it some front protection. Right now I can’t even lay my phone face down on the table with the caudabe case which is a major failure

Especially as their website and the product box both say it has a lip for screen protection.

Got my iPhone X on Friday and immediately slapped on the Spigen Liquid Crystal. FABULOUS! The so-called "Slits" are a non-issue for me in that they are not actually open. They are they to ease the pressure when pushing in on the buttons and only possibly open when doing so. I'm not a construction worker so I'm not out in that kind of environment. So far it's been great and really lets the beauty of the Stainless Steel shine through. Time will tell though. I upgrade my phone every year and last year's Spigen on my 7 Plus was not yellow at all. But again, I'm not out in the elements everyday like some.
So far, LOVE IT!

I’d love a good clear case but they always seem sticky in my hand. Always end up with the Apple leather case.

Caudabe Lucid Clear here. Awesome fit. Buttons are super easy to press too because they made the cutouts bigger on one side. Love Caudabe cases for those little details.

I noticed the same thing about Power Support. Absent from the Apple Store now, although Apple seems to be pushing their own cases the most now. I can’t say I liked the Power Support cases much. They basically weren’t coming off unless you broke them. The Caudabe I got comes off way easier, much better designed. Because who on Macrumors actually just uses one case for the life of the phone? :)

Using the Caudabe Lucid Clear as we speak. Very think and super tansparent.
Down side a bit slippery and shows finger prints as much as going naked.
