Check their Facebook page. Looks like jackets for the X will release on the 10th. Can’t wait to take this awful, thick Apple leather case back for a refund.

That cracks me up. I’ve never heard anyone so disgusted with Apple’s leather case. May I ask why?

I got Caudabe Lucid Clear in the mail yesterday. Awesome case. Not for butterfingers, but that should be obvious. Fit and finish is outstanding. I’m really enjoying using a totally clear case for the first time. I may pair it with a screen protector, but for now it’s naked on the front.

Is the case good for grip? Is it sticky in the band?

Just got the Lifeproof NEXT clear case. Pricey but it looks great and I know it’ll protect my thousand dollar investment.

If we use Spigen Liquid Crystal case, will we be able to use a 3D full screen glass protector or will it be a problem?

Power Support Air Jacket (when it’s released).

Only option for me.

Those are nice but they are hard cases which may scratch the stainless steel frame.

Spigen yellow (my 7 plus did in about 3 or 4 weeks) and their new button design is poor IMO.

Ive tried clear TPU cases and never been happy. You can always see every speck of dust under them or that got into the openings in the case and it looks gross/dirty.

But can you see the dust if you are using the Silver iPhone X?

Love the quality of the leather cases, but I hate the bulkiness and the lip. I also hate non-clear cases (been a Power Support Air Jacket guy since the 5). I went naked with the 7+ and got really used to that form factor. Then with the 8+ I went back to the Air Jacket due to the glass back.

While “thin”, the Apple cases add too much bulk for me. Not to mention they cover up the beautiful X design!

edit: forgot to mention that I hate the open bottom on the Apple cases.

Which iPhone X did you get? You think Power Support Case will scratch the stainless steel frame when installing and removing the case?

^ Got the white X, and I’m not worried about scratching. I’ve never had any issues with the tight fit of the AJ leading to scratches. And if it does, they’d likely be superficial scratches that can be buffed out. Stainless steel is good for a quick polish/buff making it look new again.

You feel Power support AJ is better than Spigen Liquid Crystal?

Initially wanted to use the Apple Leather case but now feel clear case will be better?

I’m extremely biased in that I’ve never used a Spigen case. I have used the AJ for a long time and don’t have any major complaints.

They can be a pain to get off, but once you get the physics of it, doing so isn’t too difficult. They’re pricey, but you also just bought a $1k+ phone. What’s $30? And they last pretty well in my experience....I’ve generally used 1 case for a year and have had no issues.

It’s a little slippery, but not too bad. More grip than a new Apple leather case or spigen thin fit - those are 'powdery' slippery if you understand my meaning - slippery and dry like the IPhone 6s aluminium. The caudabe is 'wet' slippery so more like glass. Not sticky like a TPU or silicon case but not bad.

I know Power Support AJ is excellent but it's a pain to get off.

Can you post a pic of your Lucid Clear on your phone?

Unfortunately my Caudible Clear Case (which does look amazing), has scratched the steel bezels already.

anyone with Caudabe Lucid Clear case for X? i just ordered one to give it a try.

Yes. Looks amazing, but see above comment. I don't think this is avoidable regardless of case though. Also somewhat slippery, not as comfortable holding in hand. But I am coming from using leather cases for the past 2+ years.

EDIT: Oh and one last thing, while using the phone as a "phone" Talking, the top edge pokes your ears.

Here's a case for only $4.97 from amazon.com. I have amazon prime so I ordered it Saturday night and it arrived Monday. I'm extremely pleased with it! Has accurate cut outs and is thinner than the spigen cases, so it shows off the beauty of the iPhone X.

Edit: Just increased in price to $5.97!

Mind sharing more pics showing how far up the lip goes for protection?

There is this otterbox one too: https://goo.gl/JfDgKP

I have that one (Otterbox Symmetry Clear case). It's does a great job protecting the phone but I don't like it. It's to clear around the edges so that stands out against the black. I think a case with black around the edges will look better and blend in.

For 3D Glass protectors the only clear case I know to not have any issues with it is the Power Support Air Jacket. I am leaning towards that.

It won't turn yellow over time.

Yeah, the Lucid Clear was the first case on my phone and still the only case I've used. It's great. I've got a Belkin glass screen protector on the front. The combination looks and feels amazing.

That Spigen Liquid Crystal looks good too, but it's TPU. Pretty sure TPU will get piss yellow after a while, it's pretty disgusting. I've never gotten a clear TPU case for that reason.
