Fear not folks...Power Support heard all the complaints and now they include a removal tool lol.

Not even kidding....

Hey, at least they actually did something about it, right? Can’t even be mad at that.

Wow. That is great. Their cases are the best. You need to get imos screen protector to go along with it. I will do the same.

I use Incipio (flexible), pictures attached.

To anyone who was looking to try the Air Jacket, they’re up for preorder right now. Expected to ship on the 10th.

I’d also recommend their Crystal Film screen protector—easily one of the better protectors on the market, IMO.

Don’t forget promo code IPHONEDO for 10% off! And no I don’t work for them—just really love their products!

I'm interested in a clear case, but one that is "grippy" and non-slippery on the sides.

Loved the Apple Leather case but was way too slippery.

Any suggestions?

I have the Spigen liquid Crystal, and ultra Hybrid on the way. I’m curious to see the difference between the 2

From my experience, they were pretty much identical in size/appearance, just that the LQ was soft TPU all over, and the UH had a hard back. The UH was a little harder to put on too.

Ringke Fusion. TPU sides so grippy and soft, hard plastic back. Slim, clear, lip on the front for face-down protection. Its what I currently have on.

HELP! There are so many clear cases to choose from. I don't know where to begin. Just when I think I have my choices narrowed down, I read the reviews and change my mind. As of right now, I have my choices narrowed down to the ones below. They range from rugged to minimal & moderately priced to affordable. I am basically looking for something that offers good 360 protection (I have phone insurance through my carrier as a backup), but I still want good protection while allowing the beauty of the phone to shine through. Can anyone offer any opinions on these:

BodyGuardz Ace Pro Case
i-Blason Halo Series
Spigen Ultra Hybrid
TOZO PC Clear Ultra-Thin Hard Protect Case
TOZO Clear Soft TPU Gel Skin
Shamo's TPU Rubber Gel

I was also considering the Caudabe Lucid Clear since it has great reviews here, but I don't like that the power and volume switch are cut outs rather than covered. IMO the cut outs only allow more dust, lint, and particles to get in the case. I prefer to have everything that can be covered to be covered.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Thanks mrklaw. You previously expressed concern over the swipe home gesture with the RF. How's that working for you?

Any suggestions for a case that has black around the edges and a clear back?

Let us know what Caudabe says please.

I contacted Caudabe about the raised lip as well and this was their response to me...

Thanks for the email. Regarding the lip, this has actually been a point of great debate internally. Some want a lip and others don’t because it interferes with the swiping motion and just doesn’t feel as natural. Having said that, we do recognize that the lip currently in place isn’t as pronounced as it could be and are already in the process of modifying our tooling to increase the lip on our next batch of Lucid Clears. It will not be a major increase, as our design philosophy with Lucid Clear was for the case to feel as unobtrusive as possible, but the lip will be extended more than it currently is.

Since this is an important issue for you, we would be more than happy to ship you a complimentary replacement once the revised batch is available. We don’t have a specific ETA on it, but would expect stock later this month. Please feel free to check back with us as often as you’d like. Happy to keep you updated.

Same here

That logo though

About the logo, I know. But I chose/bought this from the store, Fry’s Electronics. I tested it out by the touch and feel of it—premium quality. The others were not as good. And I have used transparent flexible cases for all my previous iPhone; this one is best. (More pictures of the front posted.)

Nice! Any pics of the front?

Good support from them.

You should reply with the suggestion that they should just put a lip on the sides (& maybe top), but leave the bottom edge lip free, if they want to satisfy everyone & make a unique yet practical case lip design.

I just got the exact same response from Charlotte!

No issue at all. Not even annoying. The activation zone is high enough up the phone so you don’t need to swipe from off screen

I got the same response and I replied about leaving the ‘middle bottom’ lower. They replied saying they’d make one specially for me but I think it was a little sarcastic :)

Maybe if others suggest the same they might do it. Raised bottom corners should be enough (along with raised edge around the sides/top)

How's the fit? Loose or Snug/Tight? Also what Screen Protector are you using?

Just got the Lifeproof NEXT clear case. Pricey but it looks great and I know it’ll protect my thousand dollar investment.

Any chance you could share some pics? I've been eyeing this case since before pre-orders opened, but for £60 it has to be perfect. Are you experiencing any issues with the mute switch not working well with it on? Quite a few concerning reviews about the 8/8+ versions.
