No trouble at all adjusting the Osmo to balance different weighted cases. There is one knob you turn and then either extend the arm or shorten it. There is also a simple way to calibrate the horizontal level, by using the DJI app.DJI it is then! I like the finish better anyways. Any problems in balancing considering you have a lot of cases to test? lol
I'm a BB Elite plus member so I have a 45 return period.
I'm thinking of either getting a Samsung t5 (external SSD) or a gimbal to go along my 512gb 15" MBP TB and X.
What's your setup and storage method for videos to edit?
[doublepost=1514955238][/doublepost]Darin,
I have another question pls... I plan to use the DJI app primarily to take pictures and videos.
Does it save the pics/videos on its own library or it goes directly to your iPhones photo library?
It would suck if one will have to save two large video files in two separate libraries.
I use the Photos app on my Mac and have it set to store in iCloud as well as my phone. I find that they both optimize storage nicely. I do pay monthly for iCloud storage of 200gb. I also use Lightroom for photos and videos I shoot with my old fashion camera
With the DJI app, and I don’t know if my workflow is the most efficient, I shoot about 90% with the DJI app. The other 10% with the Apple Camera app. The videos and photos I take with the DJI app are stored in that app. When I finish a shoot, I save them all to the Photos app on my X and then I delete all the photos and videos from the DJI app. This is easy for me and works.
If I’m lazy, I just use iMovie on my iPad to make a quick video. Or if I’m feeling up to it I use Final Cut Pro on my Mac. In a previous life I had a video production company and made a lot of commercials and video shows for Time Warner. I guess you can say I’m an expert at photoshop and FCP, at least I used to be.
