iPhone 15 pro max will be the biggest bump yet

Lol that looks so ridiculous. I still firmly wish Apple would've put the best single-lens system they could flush-fit in my 13 mini, but I'd rather have no camera than that monstrosity.

I was hoping Apple would eventually get rid of that camera bump, but it seems they're going the opposite direction. That the iPhone wobbles when put on a flat surface is the only blemish of an otherwise beautiful design.

It already slips off every surface known to humankind without a case on.

Also as I recently was painfully reminded, face up it will answer hey siri requests even if a homepod is in the same room right next to it.

I won't wade too far into the face up vs face down debate but face down seems to be the way to go, and using the phone without a case is madness. Unless you're an Apple exec with a drawer full of free spares, you're gonna have a bad time.

These fraction-of-a-millimeter spec increases are hilarious. Obviously Apple can release a huge bump ProMax phone with a legit 1" sensor yesterday but they have to drag it out over several years to keep the revenue stream coming.

the amount of people disappointed that they can’t leave their iPhone flat on a table is unsettling lol. how is that *that* important to you?

anyway… very excited for the picture quality.
seriously.. who cares if you can't make it lie down flat on a table? use a stand instead!

Just give us a huge camera bump on a Pro Max like the old 35mm point-and-shoot cameras so we don't have to worry about slightly marginal picture quality improvements anymore.

You're fooling yourself if you think you need more than an iPhone 11. For the next 5 years.

Sure it'd make it heavier, but if you're gonna have a bloody massive bump on the back, just take the rest of the phone out to sit flush (or nearly flush) and give me 4 or 5 days of battery life. I can't imagine it being that much heavier and it'd sit flush in a slim case and take up very little more space in my pocket. 🤷🏻‍♂️

If it's got a lump that big you may as well put the headphone jack back in too... 🤣

It's not *that* important to me, it's just that taking photos isn't especially important to me and I prefer the look of the phones without a bump. Just like I'd prefer no notch but I accept the need for it.
I get that. I personally like the look of it. I guess my thought is "are people using their iPhone often times while it's laying on a table?" that's the only way people's frustration with it would make sense to me.

How good does the camera need to be ffs. Surely there comes a point when compromising the aesthetics of the phone for ever more camera upgrades no longer is desirable

Iphone 15 will be a camera that can make calls.
Actually i hope i find a case that protects that bump, i cringe at setting it down and hitting lenses

How big is the iPhone 15 camera bump going to be with periscope next year  at some point the weight shift to one corner of the phone must be noticeable right?
Judging by the evolutionary trend of the bump, the iPhone 21 will closely resemble today’s SLR camera. Lens by then will be in the center to balance the weight 😊

What I would give for the iPhone to be thicker and not have a camera bump turning it into a rocker.

As much as I would love 3 days battery life, I think the 13 Pro is plenty heavy enough as it is. Heavy enough I’m having a hard time deciding to go 14PM on my next purchase because of the weight.

I can’t imagine the weight if they were to make the thickness the same and fill that with battery. I’m not about to start carrying a purse just to get an extra day’s battery life and a flat iPhone.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for next year when Graphene Aluminium batteries may be scaled enough for phones.

I've said that constantly since iPhone 6. I even traded my iPhone 6 back to Apple for the iPhone SE (2016) which I still use today because of that stupid camera bump. Yes, stupid.
