"Perfectly acceptable photos"back then are now mediocre photos now...times have changes and the bar has been raisedtbh I'd rather my iPhone 13 mini had a significantly worse camera and no bump. Remember the iPhone 4 where you could just lay your phone flat on a table, and take perfectly acceptable photos?
Nah, that will always be somebody that will find a way to find something about it to hate on.Why not make the rest of iPhone body the same thickness as the camera bumps, as it was done before iPhone 6? It would look sleeker and have more space for heat dissipation and a bigger battery, so everyone wins?
I agree with that "sentiment" tooI agree with this sediment. I want the best camera possible, so I don't have an issue with a larger lens. But I personally would prefer making the whole phone match the lens bump and use that extra space for a larger battery!
So, set the record mode/format to a lower resolution option....they're there.8k? Great, now my memory will be eaten up in one 4 minute long clip. No new processor? Not even speed bump? This isn't even an S upgrade.
I was hoping Apple would eventually get rid of that camera bump, but it seems they're going the opposite direction. That the iPhone wobbles when put on a flat surface is the only blemish of an otherwise beautiful design.
You other brothers can't deny.I like big bumps and I cannot lie.
seriously.. who cares if you can't make it lie down flat on a table? use a stand instead!the amount of people disappointed that they can’t leave their iPhone flat on a table is unsettling lol. how is that *that* important to you?
anyway… very excited for the picture quality.
I get that. I personally like the look of it. I guess my thought is "are people using their iPhone often times while it's laying on a table?" that's the only way people's frustration with it would make sense to me.It's not *that* important to me, it's just that taking photos isn't especially important to me and I prefer the look of the phones without a bump. Just like I'd prefer no notch but I accept the need for it.
Leaked photo of the iPhone 15Iphone 15 will be a camera that can make calls.
Actually i hope i find a case that protects that bump, i cringe at setting it down and hitting lenses
it’s not true at all actually. my 13 pro sits in an apple leather case. the case itself has a bump for the camera.Very true. A lot of people make a mountain out of a mole bump.
Judging by the evolutionary trend of the bump, the iPhone 21 will closely resemble today’s SLR camera. Lens by then will be in the center to balance the weight 😊How big is the iPhone 15 camera bump going to be with periscope next yearat some point the weight shift to one corner of the phone must be noticeable right?
The 48MP, better sensor is tempting, I still think I will hold out until next year's phone. HOPING for that better "periscope" zoom.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for next year when Graphene Aluminium batteries may be scaled enough for phones. As much as I would love 3 days battery life, I think the 13 Pro is plenty heavy enough as it is. Heavy enough I’m having a hard time deciding to go 14PM on my next purchase because of the weight.
I can’t imagine the weight if they were to make the thickness the same and fill that with battery. I’m not about to start carrying a purse just to get an extra day’s battery life and a flat iPhone.
I've said that constantly since iPhone 6. I even traded my iPhone 6 back to Apple for the iPhone SE (2016) which I still use today because of that stupid camera bump. Yes, stupid.I was hoping Apple would eventually get rid of that camera bump, but it seems they're going the opposite direction. That the iPhone wobbles when put on a flat surface is the only blemish of an otherwise beautiful design.
OMG Yes! Those rumors of that 4S... wow.. so much was flying around back then!Brings back memories of the wedge iPhone design rumors.
