At least according to the Apple website, Jet Black can't be had in a 32GB version, so I'll have to go with Black or Silver.

in the future there was an report that they might open it to 32gb since they had failed high rates of yeild in that color, so they prioritized the good batches into expensive models lol who wouldn't like more money ?

KGI’s Ming-Chi Kuo "Due to low yield, piano black may only be offered exclusively on high-capacity iPhone 7 models, at least at first. "

will avoid the piano black, it will scratch so easy and already has!

Jet black looks striking in photos but finger prints and visible scratching is a no go for moi. Betting on black.

I'll wait to see the unboxing videos to decide to buy.. I'm actually with a rose gold iPhone 6s Plus and I'm tired of the colour.. and the old iPhone 6s colors (gold, rose gold and silver) are so... meh. I'll have to decide between the 2 blacks.. I just think that the jet black is so much dated.. then I think I'm gonna preffer the matte tone

It matte Black more of a gray or a black? It looks different in different pics.

not sure you have seen it.

Thanks. Yeah I'm going with matte black. That jet black looks good but looks like plastic, reminds me of the 3g/3GS and I know it will scratch. Sometimes I like to be stealthy with my phone and I don't want a mirrored/glossy back.

I don't use cases either so I don't want to baby my phone.

I think the super bright light washes out the color. Also nest to the jet, it won't look as black. As someone that hated apples 'black' from the iPhone 5 on and switched to silver, I'm happy to say I'm going back to black. Matte black is what it should have been from the start.

just like a black car... no matter how careful you are... you get those fricken swirl lines!
So true, I've been telling the wife "why do you keep buying black cars? After couple days after being washed they look dirty already" and here I am debating getting a shiny(car like) finish of black. Nope, matte, done deal.

Matte black or Silver at this point for me. Now if Apple would let you swap out the jet black color once it got scratched (with applecare at no charge) i would think about the jet black.
