You're probably not happy about it, but that makes me feel better. Interestingly the one that's still NEW was ordered at 3:15 AM and the one that says COMPLETED was ordered around 6:00 PM on the 3rd.

Well, the way I see it, as long as I get my 32 before John Doe walks his ass into the store at 7am on the 10th and gets a 32... then I'll be fine ;).

Edit: And yeah, most people probably went for the 32's. It's whatever though, it will be here eventually!

Both now completed, I ordered at 4:01am and 4:48am respectively. I chose Next Day by 10am so not sure if they'll ship tomorrow. Anyone else receive tracking numbers yet?
 
It seems that there is no real method to how these orders are being filled. Some 16s, some 32s, high order #s, low order numbers. It looks like a total crapshoot. I'm still stuck on NEW.
 
One of mine also went from NEW to PENDING, but it seems like that's been the case with many of them. Maybe they have to go back to PENDING before they go to COMPLETED.
 
I just called Verizon and the rep looked at the system and told me that my order has been processed and is set to go out overnight today. It is awating FedEx pickup. My status went back to pending so maybe it will go to completed once FedEx actually picks up the package. I hope this lady was not blowing smoke, but she did take a couple of minutes looking around in the system. Since FedEx has not picked it up yet she did not have a tracking number.
 
As far as mine goes... something got screwy when selecting the plan for the phone. To keep the story short, rather than jump around CSR's, I emailed my tech guy and asked him to get in touch with our Rep.

Maybe I'll get it by Friday. They really gave business accounts the shaft.

Thats good news! So that means that the few that are showing complete will most certainly ship today!

No changing of order status here -- all of our orders are still showing completed (90 percent 32 but a few 16's). We have 11 orders for accessories that I ordered on Friday and they are all showing completed as well.

I have two retail 32's that show a 10:30 Today delivery --- not holding my breath.

Edit - status for the retail units just changed to

I've spent most of the morning being moved from CSR to CSR, and then replying to emails. This has really been a nightmare on my end.

any news that will make our day better?? ;) I've given up calling because I'm worried they will get mad and cancel my order or something because last time I called she was like "As we told you yesterday NOTHING is going out until the 9th" what bull!!
I'm sorry your day has been a nightmare though...I'm worried that I'm not going to be there when it gets delivered and if that happens because I have no email notifications and it gets sent back...whoa there will be trouble!!

Like a confirmation email? Or one saying the order went from PRE to COMPLETED?
 
Well, basically, I "tried" to change the price plan on the primary account, when all I wanted to do was add the data package. So they put a hold on it until I told them what I wanted to do.

The CSR I spoke to told me to reply to the email and tell them, "Don't change the price plan, just add the data package."

So that's where my hold up is, from my own stupidity, I guess.
 
I used the Verizon Enterprise portal to order those - but it appears they were processed just like all of the retail orders tied to a retail/consumer phone number.

LUCKY!!! I am disappointed in the way they are shipping, in my opinion business accounts should have a slight priority over regular accounts or at the least be treated the same not worse. If I ever pre-order again it will be the day before and reserve to pick up in store because right now I'm not sure if the stress of all of this is worth having it maybe a day early. Although that might change if I do get it lol. ;)

I'm assuming they have to have it in writing and not your word over the phone??
 
I placed an order for one 32GB on 2/3/11 4:11am EST through our business portal and the order is still showing as PENDING. Our account rep was clueless when I asked why some of my friends in Ohio in the middle of nowhere were already receiving their phones when they ordered after I did.

Hopefully this will be changing soon but from the CSRS that I have spoken to in the last few days it really does seem like they don't have a clue as to what is going on

It seems to me the 32GB isn't getting completed for most, I have the 16 and its been completed since Saturday night but no change.
And when I have talked to a CSR they refuse to believe that people are getting their phones and when I tell them that they aren't business account holders then they say "Oh well I don't know anything about any accounts other than business" FRUSTRATING!!
 
In my experience it has nothing to do with 16 or 32. We have over 2 dozen 32's that are all in completed status. What I did notice is that all of our orders that have shipped were completed right before shipping. I checked again on the portal and 6 of the accessory orders that I placed on Friday (All showed completed this AM) went from Completed to Shipped showing the 6th as the ship date. Still no movement on the phones though.

Edit - First retail 32 just arrived - 9:15AM - not bad for UPS considering a 10:30 cap. Next arrival is Fed-Ex same 10:30 window.

I suppose this is the price I pay for having my company pay for my phone instead of paying for it myself.
 
Just got off the phone with VZW CSR who at first said my order was still pending and hasn't gone through, then I told him that on my account it says that the order had been completed but no info, so after holding for a while he came back with 'the phone has been charged to your account so it should have been shipped'. He was very nice in saying that he will continue to check for a tracking number and said I should have one by the end of the day and I should get my phone no later than tomorrow. I double checked with him that it was shipped he said on the 5th. I called FEDEX and they have no record of anything being picked up to ship to me!!!!!!! So confused.
