Inside source says basically what all the leaks have been saying for weeks as well as some vague comments that were pretty much common knowledge but still vague enough so that if incorrect it still kind of works.

And I bet your dad works for Nintendo too.
No, Sony.
Is the aluminum on the white iPhone going to be brushed? Will the aluminum ring around the camera be brushed?

Definitely not liking the polished look.
Polished on all Editions.

“3GB RAM on both 7S and Plus models.”

So will the “Edition” have 4GB RAM seeing as it’s the premium model? Or just 3GB? You kinda glossed over that part.

Also, what most of us want to know: ProMotion - Yes or no?

Yes on the Edition with 4GB - I believe that was listed in there.

Well no, I was mocking you. But now.....

It's pretty clear that you're the one with issues. All he was doing was pointing out that all you've done is compile a list of rumours we already know about and passed it off as insider information.

But you obviously couldn't take it and started throwing your toys out of the pram. Maybe because you expected everyone on here to lavish praise on you? I bet people love winding you up & laughing at the results.

Interesting, especially since the rumours have consistantly stated that it will have 3GB. I’m hoping you’re/they’re right on this one!

ProMotion though, I’m taking it you have no info?

Got some fun projection going on there. Good stuff.

Like it says in the first post - believe it, don't, it doesn't matter to me. I'm honestly way more entertained at the people so enraged by it than I am all of the lavished praise I'm receiving (apologies to the devoted fans).

So now the real question though. Are you buying me a beer too, or just the other guy? Because if I don't get one too I'm going to throw my toys everywhere.

Nah, no info on ProMotion. Sorry!

Nah, no info on ProMotion. Sorry!

Nobody has shown any anger, merely pointing something out. Keep talking and showing yourself up.

It's funny to see people saying his "predictions" are only a summary of previous leaks. altas_0 basically gave us a summary of every product relating to the keynote.

I'm reading rumors articles everyday and nowhere does it say:

Watches
  • S3. Minor spec bump, new LTE model, starting at $369 on Non-LTE.
  • S2 price drop, remaining for sale, starting at $269
  • S3 Metallic finishes to match iPhone Edition.
  • New S3 Edition model with lower price than Ceramic S2
Nowhere did I read charging dock starting at $99, 4K Apple TV at $199, etc

People must be only reading the first paragraph, oh iPhone 7S? "Wow already leaked previously"

Nah, no info on ProMotion. Sorry!

Agh, bummer! I’m guessing it’s one of those things that’s hard to get any info on as it’s not leaked in hardware or software. I’ll just have to bite my nails throughout the keynote and hope to the heavens that they include it.

Believe it, don't, that's up to you. Going off some inside info from a source that's been reliable to me in the past.

RELEASES:

iPhones
  • 7S, 32GB/128GB/256GB, Starting at $649
  • 7S Plus, 32GB/128GB/256GB, Starting at $769
  • Edition, 64GB/256GB/512GB, Starting at $999
  • No SE update at this time. iPhone 6 and SE remaining as current prepaid options.
Processor, and slight camera improvements to 7S/Plus. 3GB RAM on both 7S and Plus models. Faster processor on Edition model. Wireless charging across all models. Same screens from 7 range on 7S/Plus. Improved screen on Edition. Edition to feature facial recognition for unlocking, as well as a sort of "always on" type display feature.

Tablets
  • No new releases
  • Quiet removal of Mini 4 post Keynote update
  • Sales numbers touted heavily
Not much to see here, due to the recent refreshes. Mostly touting numbers and the recovery of the platform without saying things like "recovery" or "We almost really screwed up here". Mini removal is likely at this time.

Watches
  • S3. Minor spec bump, new LTE model, starting at $369 on Non-LTE.
  • S2 price drop, remaining for sale, starting at $269
  • S3 Metallic finishes to match iPhone Edition.
  • New S3 Edition model with lower price than Ceramic S2
Overall minor refresh. No immediately apparent external changes, though the measurements will change slightly on the S3 models, similar to S0 to S2. LTE models to be promoted heavily via carriers, but will still require an iPhone to take full advantage of features. $5/mo line access for most carriers on LTE model, but possible incentives when linked with an iPhone through the carrier (on a payment plan) as well. Worth noting, this section of the event may be delayed until the Spring event based on external factors, but the updated watches are currently prepared to launch. S1 watches may receive a further price drop, but more likely will be discontinued.

Macs
  • iMac Pro highlighted, firm release date given w/ preorder date as well
  • No Mac Mini at this event
  • No Mac Pro at this event
Not much to see here either. Small mention, sales touted, etc.

Apple TV
  • New 4K model, Starting at $199
  • Non 4K model will *potentially remain* at lowered price
Not a whole lot here, but a big release for some that have been waiting for 4K support. Info wasn't clear on the current generation Apple TV, but it seems it will potentially remain with a slight price cut. 4K model will receive a faster processor as well, but not much beyond that and 4K. Design to be the same.

HomePod
  • Highlighted again, but more briefly
  • Release date announced, along with preorder date
Mostly just a "wrap up" from the WWDC announcement. Expect this section to be brief.

Software
  • iOS 11 release
  • watchOS 4 release
  • macOS High Sierra release
  • Integration features highlighted, some brief demos
The usual here. Nothing surprising, and the brief demos may be cut for time, based on other announcements.

Accessories
  • New cases and case colors for 7S, 7S Plus, Edition
  • Wireless charging accessory/dock, starting at $99
  • New watch band colors
All the usual and expected here. No smart connector iPad accessories at this event.

That wraps it up. These predictions will remain unedited until after the keynote, at which point I will edit strictly to point out accuracy of each prediction, as well as to add an overall accuracy rate to the post. Source will remain unnamed to to sensitivity of information, and requests for information on this source will be ignored.

All of this seems pretty reasonable based on leaks...

however 199 for the Apple tV. They are smoking crack.

Yes on the Edition with 4GB - I believe that was listed in there.

Your RAM information directly contradicts with Ming-Chi Kuo. What's your level of confidence on this? I want to believe 3GB/4GB, but Kuo has a pretty solid track record.

Pretty much what I was expecting. Seems to be all about phones these days and incremental upgrades. No mini or replacement, no Mac Pro or replacement. Same old same old.

Personally I hope the phone tanks so they update, upgrade, or replace some of their other aging stuff.

Don't get me wrong, love and use a variety of Apple products, but I have this yearning desire for something new and innovative to get excited about. Phones don't excite me much anymore, and I have enough watches.

In regards to the S3 Apple Watch, do you know what the new edition's material will be? Are we still talking Ceramic or have they added a new one?

But the iPhone 8 (or Edition) will be a BIG update! Granted the 7s seems to be a smaller update.

To get an idea of UK prices I tried a direct dollar to pound conversion:

£502.91 / £595.89 / £774.12

In our dreams obviously.

£599/£719 for the first two with any luck, but £999 for the entry level Edition phone would be a hell of a markup. I've forked out for the top end Retina MacBook Pros without blinking but there's no chance I could justify carrying a phone that valuable around. I could just about live with £799, maybe £849 if I was drunk when ordering.
