@atlas_0 , you’re a young, college age guy, who’s been on MRF for a bit. How’d you get this info? Is this a verified little birdie with unverified info? Or someone who heard something secondhand? You’ve never mentioned this source before, but then you suddenly have all this info?

Details sound too specific to be a supply side source, so it must be stateside, yeah?

This thread has gained a lot of traction, and you seem legit, but just wondering how/why we can trust you.

To be fair the proof will be in the pudding, it's a matter of weeks away until the event and we can see what's announced then judge this thread and the "leaks" based on that.

It really just seems like his "source" summarized the latest rumours that have been online for weeks. No offense to the OP, but pretty anyone with access to the internet could have come up with this.

That's all it is. Yet everybody believes this guy has "sources" :D

Won't have to wait long to find out if he's right.

Fraud alert, I can 100% confirm that one item in particular the OP states as fact is actually FALSE. Do not trust this guy, it's fake news.

Err this isn't news, this a prediction. Nothing OP stated was stated as a fact. He's not asking anyone to trust him. And stop using "fake news" when it's not needed.

Also, your post is worthless without mentioning the item.

Few things to note:

1. Edition, 64GB/256GB/512GB, Starting at $999 >> OP stated what the version was going to be called. This hasn't been leaked.

2. Faster processor on Edition model >> This hasn't been leaked anywhere. It's a given to make sure the Edition stands a bit further away from the 7s+, but being Apple, who knows.

3. Improved screen on Edition >> I'm not sure if OP means OLED as the improved screen (but maybe better color gamut, etc.)

4. "always on" type display feature >> I don't recall this ever being leaked. With lift to wake / tap to wake, it brings into question why an "always on" display might even exist.

5. Quiet removal of Mini 4 post Keynote update >> It's believed the Mini isn't going to be updated, OP's source is stating that the Mini 4 is going to die. This hasn't been mentioned anywhere.

6. S3 Metallic finishes to match iPhone Edition. >> This hasn't been leaked AFAIK.

7. New S3 Edition model with lower price than Ceramic S2 >> Neither has this.

8. New 4K model, Starting at $199 >> I don't believe the prices of the new 4k were leaked.

9. Wireless charging accessory/dock, starting at $99 >> This is sort of expected, but again, no pricing has been leaked.

Conclusion: Most of the predictions are as the leaks says (duh! They have to obviously match up...), but there is a significant number of predictions that indicate that perhaps OP has an inside source. It's up to you to believe it or not, but don't just blindly say that this was compiled based on the existing rumors on the internet.

I know it's sort of dead but I would love an iPod touch refresh nothing extreme a9 or a10 chip for ARKit? but a 4.7 inch iPod touch would be a dream. Especially with it being it's 10th anniversary as well and I do think they have plans for it in the future but with the recent price reduction not gonna happen.

Your post is worthless and adds nothing useful. The OP claimed to have an inside source, why would an inside source make a prediction? Either they are an insider and they have non-public knowledge or they are NOT an insider and they are just predicting / guessing. In this case, I can tell you with almost certainty that their "inside source" was Google search, which makes this entire thread about 10x less valuable than Macrumors own iPhone 8 rumor page. So what's the point?

OP - that all sounds entirely plausible. It does however beg the question - why would anyone buy the 7S for the same price as the Samsung S8?

That’s all fine, and I mostly agree, but his point stands: without details, your refutation is hollow and meaningless.

It’s a good summary of info, nothing too surprising out of it. At this point a lot of it can be decently guessed at.

Of course, there’s no way to prove whether the info posted was legitimately from an inside source or not. Not saying that the OP is lying, just that it’ll never be possible to verify, even after the event. Thanks for sharing the info though.

Few tidbits that stick out the most to me are mentioning that the iPad mini 4 will be dropped, and that the OLED iPhone will be called the Edition. While not hard to predict or guess at, those are the most unlikely things to see leak from the usual places (supply chain related leaks).

Of all things I’m becoming quite curious as to what will happen with the naming for iPhones. Will they go with 7s, 7s Plus and Edition/Pro? Or will they drop the numbers this year and go to iPhone, iPhone Plus and iPhone Pro? I do think that by 2018 the numbers will be gone and we could potentially see a line like the iPads and MacBooks have - iPhone (4.7”, 5.5”) and iPhone Pro (5.8” and 6.6”?).

I don't believe they will give the 7S 3GB ram as it's not needed, the 6S and 7 hardly struggle as it is! Will be interesting to see if their are any camera improvements but overall it seems to me better to buy the 7 and 7 Plus once they drop in price.
As for an Apple TV for $200! Hahaha that will be funny, totally overpriced if that happens. That would make it if it translates to £200 in the UK the most expensive streaming box on the market, even more so then Nvidias Shield TV which is way more powerful! So I don't believe that unless Apple doesn't want to sell any, the Fire TV is around £70 with 4K!

Hmmmmmm I see the thread starter with all this apparent inside info has been suspended....
