I'm loving Camera+ so far! Anyone know of regular computer photo editing software that's this easy to use? I'd love to be able to edit my photos on my computer as well.

Some questions and comments on camera+

1. After I save to camera roll and download into iphoto there is no EXIF or geotagging info. Is this a bug? a feature? will it be fixed?

2. When image stabilizer is on, it takes much longer to take the picture. What happens if the subjects are moving during that time? What sort of pictures should image stabilizer be used for seeing as it seems to take afew seconds?

3. In iPhoto, when the iphone is attached and I am browsing the images on iphone, there is no thumbnail for some I took with camera+, just a dashed outline (though they do download anyway). Is this normal?

Great Thread

Great pictures everyone, just thought I'd throw in a few myself that I had fun with.

These filters really are addicting!

Photogene works great on the colors.

just got camera+. What is the best way to use the separate focus and exposure settings to create cool effects? I am not too familiar with the exposure settings on a camera.

Use one finger to choose where you want it focused and the other to adjust the color. Slide it around until you find what you like. Then use the after effects to change up the style.

so I can only use hipstamatic filters on photos I take with its own camera? I cant load a pic and add filters?

i didn't know that exposure had to do with color, i thought it had to do with light. How did that one person who took a picture of their son get the background to be so out of focus with the baby in focus. Is that dealing with the exposure?

I've seen people posting these kind of pics on facebook lately and honestly I don't care for them. The camera is so good the raw files look great in natural light

yeah but sometimes light conditions are less than ideal. Night time shots where there are street lights and lots of orange colors can be cooled quickly in an application like camera+ by cooling down the overall color temperature.

Camera+ would be the perfect replacement for the camera on my phone if it only recorded video as well as take pictures.

Since it can't do video, I keep the Apple camera app on my main page and tuck Camera+ away in a folder. I ONLY use Camera+ to add effects or edit a photo AFTER I've captured it with the default camera app.

The reason I like the default app on my main page and tuck Camera+ away is becaues the default app automatically opens in image capture mode (camera+ requires you open the app then tap the camera button), the default app also has your video recorder right there (camera+ doesn't have video recording), the default app also geotags (if you take a photo with camera+, you lose the geotag when moving it to the camera roll).

Anyone else feel the same way when it comes to your default app vs camera+?

sums it up. Default camera stays on my home page. Camera+ is in the utilities folder. If i need to snap something quick camera it is. If i know im going to be taking photos, open camera+.

I just tried the same photo with every filter in CameraBag for iPad. I don't like the app and its filter quality is nothing compared to Camera+ but if you are interested in seeing all of the different filters applied to the same picture, you can check it out here: www.smartti.me

I took this picture with my iPhone 4 during a trip this summer through WI and MN (spotted this church visiting some friends of a friend in Hokah, MN). I just bought camera+ because of this thread and edited with that. Pretty cool pic IMO :p

Also, I keep seeing mentions of adding layers in camera+.. how do you do that?
