photo1-2.jpg

Maybe i should take a look at cinecrop mentioned by someone earlier with an awesome photo of his! :)

These are really great! Nicely done.

Just got this app and it's pretty amazing

Here's a pic i changed with it!! As you can see I removed the tree from the wallpaper all in the app. It works well!!

Nice! I've been waiting for something like this (I am spending way too much money on apps these days. And now 3 folders of just photo apps!)

I had posted a CineCrop photo earlier (with the lens flair) but this photo is really nice as it is too.

So many great photos from everyone! I've been out of it the past few days, so I just snapped a quick photo of me (very rare for me to do) and my partial studio (missing a lot of equipment at the moment) to experiment using Camera+>Lo-Mob>Pic Grunger; to give it an old, worn, peel-apart Polaroid look:

Wow awesome man thanks for the tip. Never even heard about this app before. I was sort of sketch about if it would work, and so far it's worked flawlessly

What's the Camera+ app called?

I try searching Camera+, but no result of it..

Camera+ has been taken off the app store because it violated Apples oh so strict policies.

I am not the developer, just passing the info:

lo-mob

$1.99 -> Free (I don't know for how long, better hurry up with downloading.)

App Store description:

Lo-mob brings lo-fi and photographic experimentations to your mobiles pictures.

Have you ever experiment with your old analog cameras? Have you put a 35mm film in a medium format body? Have you ever tried to achieve Through The Viewfinder (TTV) photography by shooting a picture with a camera through the viewfinder of another?

Do you just love to stick you eye in the viewfinder of an old medium format body? Have you tried to deconstruct an instant picture, ripping off its frame to keep only the film? Do you prefer sometimes the subtle colors rendering of an outdated film from an old camera than an perfect picture? Are grain, noise, oversaturation, scratches and frames meaningful to you?

Do you just love your iPhone because it's the perfect toy to play with pictures? Do you often take a picture and try to treat it in various iPhone softwares?

If one answer to the questions above is yes, you may just love Lo-mob!

-----------------

Lo-mob will propose you to chose or take one picture, and will process it for you. You'll be then presented with the preview of the more than 25 Lo-mob effects.

Choose one to preview it, be back to the list in just a click to chose another.

Once your choice made, save the file in high definition back to your iPhone, or share it over Twitter, or Facebook.

- more than 25 effects including vintage , instant and experimentation
- one process per picture for all the effects : means just one time to wait for the application to process before seeing all the effects
- hi-definition export
- application preferences in the iPhone setup area

Edit: Sorry now I see that I was 30 min late. ;)

Actually there are 39 filters/frames.

Some examples below: Museum steam loco photo taken some days ago with iPhone 4, and first processed with Pro HDR (see the original here). Other than that: Processed with lo-mob, untouched, sent via E-Mail (Camera Roll) to my MBP, pasted here. First here you have "AE TTV DeSaturated" in original size.

Don't miss the lo-mob's options in iPhone Settings! You can choose the size and if you want to have frame, vignetting, blurring and fx separately processed. I didn't change anything for the following examples but "Mail Size Maximum" and "Save Size Maximum".

Just my 2 cents: Not bad for a cellphone.

#1: AE TTV Saturated Virage
#2: 30's Contact
#3: News Emulsion
#4: 6 x 9 Instant Emulsion
#5: Photocard One

Quick question about Hipstamatic: can you save the pics to the camera roll and import to iPhoto as usual, or do you have to get them out of the app via email or upload to Facebook/Flickr? It doesn't say in the documentation as far as I can see.

After you have taken a photo and waited for the LED-simulators "Printing" then "Printing Ready" press the symbol and some kind of a side-scrollable Lightroom shows up with the message:

"Full size prints are auto-saved to your Photo Library." Correct. You'll find it in the Camera Roll. But keep in mind that there will be no unprocessed photograph saved, just the one filtered by Hipstamatic. So you won't get any "original".

Sweet thead, the iPhone 4 camera is amazing! I wish I had one :)

I just purchased Camera+ for my 3GS and it works great!

Here are some shots taken when I went to Dubai these past 2 weeks.

Man I miss Dubai, great shots.

I'm not too worried about the "original", just wanted to make sure there was an easy way to get the pictures off onto my computer as I don't use flickr or Facebook. I'll give the app a try, thanks.

I love Pano

Also - for an artistic looking type of pano app - check out "you gotta see this" I'm also playing with ProHDR now and love it

How does pano work? So you take a picture then move it to the left/right and it will tell you when the last shot matches with the next one?
