Oh look, it's the political correctness crowd.
Think logically about this for a second, how the hell can someone be so disabled that they physically can't work, yet they can manage to camp outside for a week in a city, in the heat, with the danger of all sorts of potentially dangerous people walking around outside at night?
what the hell does "potentially dangerous people" lurking about have to do with being disabled?
JEEZ! the guy didn't say he's camping out BECAUSE he's disabled, he said he had the time available because he doesn't work (which is due to his disability). Two very different things that you morons can't seem to compute.
and my god, is everyone a doctor now?!? you actually say that it is impossible for a disabled person who can't work to camp out for a week?!? I don't even know where to begin with that one! So you don't understand that seizure medication could impair one's ability to work? You don't understand that some disabilities prevent people from working in certain environmental conditions (lighting, ventilation, proximity to others, etc.) You don't understand that some disabilities prevent people from standing or sitting for certain periods of time? You don't understand that persons succeptible to seizures may not be able to work because of the unpredictability of the seizures and the consequences of having one on the job? You don't understand that someone can have a disability with some or all of these constraints, yet still be able to camp out - where they can sit, stand or lie down at will, eat and drink as necessary, take medications and monitor their vital signs if necessary, and basically live the same as they might at home?
I would like to know the scientific/medical premise for your assertion that no diabled person can camp out for a week in Dallas. I'm sure many disabled campers would as well.
Finally, I would never camp out for a consumer product, but the guy obviously had the right attitude - he said Hey, I don't work or go to school, I don't have anything else to do, and I thought it'd be fun to have a camping adventure and hang out at the Apple store for a product I really want anyway. That's a lot better than saying "I'm here because I would DIE if I weren't the first person to have this phone!" He seems fine - I suggest you take a cue from him and chill.
