I really hope they can fit a RED Scarlett camera internals into the iPhone 20. Until then I will use the Ultra 15.

Sorry , I know this channel wouldn’t know what to do if it doesn’t have its theories or leaks but just so TIRED of these yearly iPhone releases. Fix the 💩 that doesn’t work for a change ( like why do my notifications show up on my phone 1-2 days later?). and then let technology mature a little so it’s a worthy upgrade.
Apple is working on improved optical zoom enabled through periscope lens technology, which could be limited to the iPhone 15 Ultra. Periscope lenses are expensive and take up space, which is why Apple might use it as motivation to get people to spring for the highest-end iPhone.

Sony Xperia 1 III & IV models. Both are 8.2 mm thick. Their length is not due to the periscope lens but in choosing a very tall 4K display in each model a generation older than the other.

Of course a periscope zoom takes up more internal space. Instead of having the lens on top of the sensor, it's next to it with the zoom optics between them.False!

This is the Ultra 22 camera array, want to guess which of the four is the Periscope zoom.
Here are the Xperias you mentioned, guess which camera is the periscope zoom.
Here is the P30, you can see that its 5X periscope zoom takes up more internal space than the other cameras.
The Pixel 6 Pro's zoom is almost the same size as the two separate cameras.
Now all that being said, it really depends on what the other cameras are. If thew 15PM has the zoom and two cameras, that array may not take up more space that the 15P's four cameras.

14 Pro/Pro Max are great iPhones. But for those having a 13 Pro/Pro Max, 15 Ultra/Pro could be a better buy. Hoping to see periscope zoom on the Ultra model.
.It is a bit of a stupid thing to 'wait because of delays.' Order what you want and need now. There are no guarantees that we won't have disruptions next year. My colleagues at my university's High-Performance Computing centre were told to expect disruptions in supply chains until 2024! Moving out of China and increasing world tension will only reinforce delays for Apple products in 2023.
15 ultra certainly seems to be shaping to be a big upgrade but it's needed given several years of very small improvements.

but you will be able to get it in late december. And the 15 will be out in October, i don’t really call that “out of luck”. In fact I ordered mine and my wife’s last week and they are set to be delivered the 27 of December. And l’m ok with that.

Every time I come I’m stunned about the low value of journalism. It’s like being treated like a kid. Do they think kids read this site? Or do they think people are this stupid? Or maybe it’s the journalist who is stupid as hell writing articles like this. It’s like living in hell and wanting what you never can get in the future.

It’ll just be pure comedy if Apple do that, it’s already beyond the point of ridiculous how expensive smartphones have gotten.
That’s a bit of a niche product though due to it being a wearable device that is very large, and also a dedicated fitness device that most likely won’t appeal to all Apple Watch wearers anyway. A Pro Max is a widely used device, not just by specialists.
Unpopular opinion: I don't think the iPhone will ever switch to USB-C. The next iPhone will still be Lightning and the one after will rather not have a physical port at all than USB-C.
EU regulations are effective from 2024 onwards and Apple never specifically said they're gonna adopt USB-C, they said they're gonna "comply". Not having a physical port at all is also "complying".

portless is simply not close to what it needs to be to be able to wireless charge at a good enough rate to move away from wired.
xiaomi and other chinese brands can do it but other companies refuse to add massive charging speeds.
