Thought I would throw my input into the ring here....

Ordered the case over the weekend, received it yesterday (which isn't bad from LA to Orlando for $3), just took it out of the package to play with it and put it on.

First of all, I got the white case to go with my white phone, and it does not have any sort of sagging or loose-ness at the bottom of the case, at least not from putting it on the first time.

I have the anti-glare screen protector that I bought with the phone on the first day, and even though people continuously complain about how it ruins the picture it seems to work just fine for me so I'm gonna leave the two protectors it comes with off to the side for now and I'll use them as backups somewhere down the road.

Overall, I really like the case. I like the feeling of "I could probably throw this against the wall and nothing will happen", but it doesn't feel too bulky inside of it. I will admit that it is weird to start with because I've had an iPhone since day 1 and I've never had a case for one but I think I could get used to this.

The video stand works perfect as a make-shift dock for me as far as it just not laying flat on my dresser, since apple screwed us all over with not putting a dock with the phone, but my next investment will be a universal dock to use with the adapter it comes with.

Overall, I think its a good firm case, and it doesn't really make the phone look any worse. Unfortunately for those of you who bought early I can see why it being loose and saggy at the bottom would hinder it, but it looks like the new batch is good to go, so just switch it out.

Thumbs up from me. Hope this helps anyone who's on the fence about it.

looks like iLounge gave it a A-

seems to be a winner...

also on the speakeasy sites..they mention the arctic has the two injection sites...and they show pictures of it.

for the people that already own an arctic case..are the two dots on the back elevated at all? or depressed? or flat...thanks

The dots are in the inside of the snap-on skeleton facing the phone, so you can't feel them. They're definitely visible and kind of annoying, but I know it's inside and how it was made. I have a feeling some people might be bugged by the fact that they're pretty visible and makes it look like the phone itself is scratched, but I can live with it.

I would definitely also appreciate some pics of the arctic case. the updated product shot on their site is a little disconcerting to me as I was hoping it'd be pretty dark, but it looks pretty white-ish... I'm hoping that's just because they had a white phone in it.

Actually the right one is black in the picture. It looks too milky for my tastes. I might just get the black one now. Can someone please post pics of the arctic?

I bought two of these cases yesterday, black and the cherry (for my girlfriend).

Ill post a mini-review, and some pictures when i get them. THeyve already shipped.

I ordered an arctic case on wednsday and it arrived today!! THat surprised me that was fast! I live in Florida. I will post some pics pretty soon :D

I'm writing again after having used my case for a week. One big issue has cropped up -- I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this: every once in a while, pressing on various parts of the case will change the volume. It doesn't even require that I press very hard, but it only happens sometime. Yesterday morning, I was using the phone on the bus while listening to music. The music shot up to full volume and kept going back up even when I pressed the volume down button. I had to yank out the headphones because of the excessive volume. Must have looked pretty crazy to the other people on the bus. I later was able to recreate the issue to confirm that the culprit was the case and not something wrong with the phone.

Defective unit? Or is this just a design flaw that others have experienced. It was a big enough issue that I'm now looking for my next case.

Here are some pics. The bottom is a little loose but it covers the bezel. IMO the case is great. It looks beautiful and protects very well.

I wanted to pose a question to those of you that have already received this case. Do you think it would help or hurt how well the case fits if I have Ghost Armor on the front and back of my phone? I know that most of these cases are reported to have a loose fit on the bottom bezel and I don't know if it would be tighter because of the GH or if it would just stretch the case out more and make it even looser. I just wondered before I got mine as I wouldn't be opposed to taking off the back film. Thanks for the input.

I see a little sagg can you confirm?

I wouldnt really call it a sag more like its looser at the bottom than the rest of the case. As long as it cover the bezel im fine.
Here are some pics of the case with the black carboard that it came with just to give u guys an idea of what it would look like on a black phone. Honestly I dont think it will look too milky on the black because the phone has a glossy paint and will show up more than cardboard.

Thanks for posting the pics with the black cardboard. I think it looks good on the white iPhone but don't care for it on the black. I've been wanting to order the case but was on the fence between ordering the black or the arctic. Looks like I'll be getting the black for my black iPhone.

the arctic case does look very nice with the white phone. i love the look of this case. i hope this "bottom sag" issue gets fixed.

I just installed the Artic on my Black 3G (click on pic to enlarge). I like the fit, nice and tight all around - no sage on the bottom, but it is a little looser - still covers the molding. Only problem is the two dots on the softcase underneath. Must come from the molding process - this may be a deal killer for me, at least on the black.

Thanks for the pics, hmm yeah the dots dont seem noticeable on the white, but on the black they do stand out
