I just edited my post to show what the update page displays. Not sure if you mean what version of adapter. I have the Carplay2air.

Interesting..you are indeed on the "original USB" version of firmware. The update "may" have been pulled, but until someone else confirms an update...we wont know. How strange...I did mine just a few hours ago.
 
Ok so I have checked again and mine is now not showing test but it does say its now the latest version.

Inbound calls are fine but initiating a call has the outbound ring stuttering and the call doesn’t initiate. I have unpaired the Bluetooth and re-paired. Will have another go later.

So are you saying your still on 2019.12.19? and not 2019.12.10?

I did a test phone call on 2019.12.10 and it was great. No lag or stutter..

One step forward and one big one back.

So the software has updated over the air and I have a version on the unit now, thats the step forward. However I can only initiate calls from the screen. If I try to dial using Siri the call is choppy/stuttering and the call is only sustained for a few seconds and the recipient cant hear me.
 
This is my problem???

Demo version worked better for me.
I didn't have any problem. Now the adapter connect my iPhone to apple CarPlay but the commands are very slow. I can't use it in this way.

But it looks like it at least works after the error?
 
Yes, it works.
But commands respond after a lot of time. It worked very well with demo version of firmware.

I have a feeling we may see a new update tomorrow. They must be being battered by Ford and Jeep owner emails anyway. I’m lucky that mine is working fine for what I use it for. I’m confident that given time they will perfect it. It’s only been out a short while.
 
Got WhatsApp, asked again where is new firmware, was told tomorrow and will send direct....mmmmm.....

Busy perfecting server was what they said

Don’t really want to give it out to be fair to them, I bought from Amazon UK and contacted via there initially who gave me the number. It ends 886 though

Mines a CarLinkIt model for ref. It’s never worked at all for me, in anything. Told me to wait for a “big” update coming so I’m hoping I get somewhere this time....

They offered it but never gave me the # ! Can you pm it to me please. ?

MrMister - My Carplay2air has never functioned either. I have a usb powered box that does nothing other than illuminate a red led. Before I bought it, I was told by Michael that it would work in our 2018 Subaru Outback. I received it, plugged it in, and it did nothing (no Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to connect to and the device does not cause anything to appear on the screen of the car). I was told to wait for an update, which I did. I’ve attempted to update the firmware countless times with 15 (no joke) different usb drives, all fat32 formatted, and it never works. I’ve asked for a refund and not gotten a reply. An email CarPlay2air sent today had instructions to request an exchange. I emailed in accordance with the instructions and haven’t received a response to that email either.

Although I’m happy to hear people are starting to see more functional devices, I’ve lost all confidence and at this point just want a refund.

Mine got stuck here, is anybody having the same problem?
It seems there's no way to up/downgrade. It's probably bricked..?

I am in exactly the same situation as you. Only difference is that Michael promised me a refund if it did not work on my car as they had not yet tested it on the Jaguar.

Fixes version error and bluetooth name missing.

I think the last number isnt a build number but rather the time in 24hr format.
