Das Problem ist ja, dass er sich gar nicht mehr verbindet.

Ich habe jetzt heraus gefunden, dass ich das Modell Carlinkit CPC200-U2W Plus (USB c) nutze, welches ist denn da die neueste / funktionsfähige Firmware?

I found out that i use the Carlinkit Model CPC200-U2W plus (USB c).
What firmware should I use?

Haven't been succesfull in downgrading from 0917 yet. Last attempt this morning to go to 0902 did downgrade but once in the car there's no WIFI or BT. Going to try to roll it back to the last official OTA and see from there.

Ok, I could downgrade to some other September Images (with similar file size). I tried 0822 and had the same problem with missing Bluetooth. Even 0827 had this problem.

So applying 0905 which is a roll back to 0804 has the same issue, no WIFI or BT when plugged in the car. I'll try the other September images with similar size and see if they work.
 
I'm done mucking around with firmware updates for now. I thought for sure the dongle was dead after one of the updates where I go at a white screen with non English writings and blank buttons. Did another try and the LED blinked 22 times and it was the same. One more time and it blinked 84 times and I'm now back on 0917 and staying there till they release a new version over OTA.

before I upgrade to IOS 14.2....from 13.6.1.... Has anyone had any carplay related issues that should scare me?

I've used CPlay2Air. After a while it gets hot and audio studders. I gave up and went back to the wired version.

Not really it happens in fits and starts not all the time. Course you switch to Apple or Google Nav. Only real to get them to fix something is work with them and send them logs. I have uploaded a few but not sure I am following their process. That might be good for others to share. Best ways to contact them and send them logs.

Not sure I have seen much difference between 13.x last version 13.7 if i recall and 14.01. Are you taking about Betas of 14.2? Beta testing can be fun but I stay away. I do not need to be on the bleeding edge.

Buy from Amazon they have a good return policy last time i bought the USB-C version it was around $118 after a small discount. I also have the hard wired original. Main difference is detachable cable if ever damaged or choose your own length.

please could you outline the steps on how I would load this firmware recovery flash dump?
 
I am happy to write a guide, but just so you know, it is going to involve some soldering and access to an eeprom programmer. Unfortunately I don't think it can be done through software alone.

Have you been able to get into the filesystem of the flash?

I have managed to extract and mount the jffs2 but am getting imput/output error on all files expect for very small ones (maybe under 100 bytes but not sure the exact number)

If your system is the old Mazda Connect system, I do not recommend buying it. I don't believe it's worked reliably for any Mazda owners in this forum. The unit does not connect half (or more) of the time, and it causes the Mazda system to freeze and reboot. I am actually going to sell my USB-C version on eBay since it hasn't worked reliably with my MX-5.

Agreed. I tried early this year and never got more than a few minutes out of CarPlay2Air, on my 2019 MX-5. I have seen many negative reports from other Mazda owners, and no more than one or two reports of even short-term success.

The dump is pointless, as I told earlier restoring a backup from another (valid) unit is not working. I already uploaded my backup on the repo few days ago if you want to test too

To mount the filesystem you must strip 6MBytes from the dump (u-Boot & Kernel)
 
Keine Ahnung wie, aber meine v2 läuft auf einmal an.
Leider ist aber kein WIFI und kein BT Netz zu finden, um sein iPhone zu koppeln. (v 8.4.20)


don't know how, but my v2's start up all at once.
Unfortunately, there is no WIFI or BT network to connect your iPhone. (v 8.4.20)

I have the new Mazda 3 with Mazda Connect II and it works like a charm, 9/10. Its not bugless, but it works almoast like an OEM one, minus a 1s lag at tracks/voice and once in a while i have to replug it because it dosent want to connect. It happens like, once a week.
