CarPlay CarPlay adapter to convert to wireless CarPlay?

How do I get it to where I can activate Siri by pressing the button on my steering wheel? I've seen the dialog before because my old car had wireless carplay, but I reset the dongle, started over got the Sync "do you want to use CarPlay" screen, then the same thing on my phone, but it never gave me that activate Siri screen. Everything still working but Siri. Does anyone have the steps that worked for them? Thanks!

I have Siri button at steering wheel and if you press it, system reboot (Ford Puma Sync 3.4)

Yeah, same here. When I click the steering wheel button it reboots.I think user Simps1000 was saying he was able to set up siri using the button on the wheel and then it worked.

I’ve not had to do anything special for it to work - when I press the button and takes me to Siri as expected - hey Siri also works. I have a carlinkit 2.0 on 2020.12.10

When not connected it pulls up the Ford voice control as expected.

I have same firmware and latest sync version, but I have Cplay2air not Carlinkit 2.0 (but I think it is the same)

There are several types. I have one that a flat pad with a raised lip. Works perfectly.

Downloaded ok for me, I’ve had to zip it up, obviously at your risk. I haven’t tried it yet though.
