Bummer. I had that issue too. Luckily my gf has one of those digital picture frames with a 32gb card in it.Its 128gb lolno smaller card..
You can find a 32gb for like $10 on amazon.

Today when i got to the car it connected and worked like a charm. 45 min drive+spotify, no problems. 10% battery drain. I think its smoother then the carlinkit adapter in the calls department.
Later i will do a 2h drive and test it more.

I have the same behavior. In some cases the device works as expected. But in some cases, it is not recognized by the car and I have to unplug/plug it.
Hello everyone. I need hep, does anyone are still having problems with CPLAY2AIR when using it with google maps, waze?? Every time i try to use that apps it freezes my multimedia screen !I think its extremely important to us, when buying that king of gadget, that it work fine with all kinds of apps supported by apple carplay. Its gps apps, we use it a lot when driving! My car is a Chery Tiggo 7 and it has apple car play woking fine with cable. What to do with that?
Google maps works perfectly on my Mazda 3 with Cplay2Air.

If it is not a 2021 CPlay2Air V2 device, have you updated to the latest firmware or tried any custom firmware?
It is a 2021 one. I bought direct from the manufacturer 2 months ago. I checked and it has the last firmware. Do you think it is reasonable to use any custom firmware ? If so, what to use ?

Still no luck. Found a 1gb sd card, put the booot img on the sd card, and no lights with the sd card is inserted. Without it its solid green.

If you have a green UI on the V2 device, you should update to the latest official 2021.08.30 firmware using USB drive method first to see if it fixes the issue.
Weird. Have you tried different update files? It took .09 file update immediately for me.
I have upgraded and downgraded many times. Try to format the card using SDA's 'SD Card Formatter' utility and ensure the firmware filename is ISPBOOOT.BIN
You need to format the card to FAT32.
Small older cards tend to be FAT format and in my experience the podofo behaved the way you described. Also make sure of the file name- specifically the extra ‘O’ in boot.
How do I know if I have a green UI? Sorry, but I don’t know what do you mean when saying “UI”. I am really not used those terms. Another question, even if I have the green ui, you mentioned, do you still suggest that I do that update using usb method? Even if it shows that I already have it installed (see the picture I attached before) ?

That is not the latest firmware so definitely update with USB.
You can see User Interface (UI) color when the device waits for a phone connection. Turn of your phone's BT & WIFi to force the device show you the UI.
Based on your firmware screenshot, you are on the green UI non-AutoKit sofware and should update to 20201.08.30 using USB method
Man I have to tell you that I haven’t noticed that I wasn’t with it updated! I don’t know how I was saying that it was… well I am writing now to say that I think it worked ! I updated it with the usb method with the last update and after plugged in the vehicle and tested. Everything is working well, not crashing until now! Thanks a lot, one more time my friend .
Just like yours, on .09 it dosent work. I get the carplay icon, but when i try to use carplay it disconnects and reconnects again and so on. Flashing on and off, like you said.
Any other decent update?or i throw it in the box and thats it.
Honestly I have not tried any files besides .09. I gave the podofo to my gf because it works perfectly with her honda civic. Have you tried any other versions yourself beside 09?
Is there other version? I tried stock and .09. Cant find other files.
