the status bar toggle is a fine addition by the way. i already wish it were an option in more apps!
is there a new feature of iOS that allowed you to do it, or was it some awesome trickery that i can't hope other developers also work out?
Nope, not a new feature - it's always been possible to do it, just a huge pain!
I both love you for doing it, and hate you for making me miss it in other apps

And I don't even know how I'd begin to localize CARROT. There's just so much dialogue. I imagine it'd be ridiculously expensive to do even one translation...
Oops - having some “Network Error” issues on both iPhone 6/Apple Watch and iPad Air 2. iOS 11 and Carrot 4.1. On home wifi network which is working OK. Watch briefly showed this morning’s forecast, then reverted to forecast from last night. Location is correct. Tried rebooting but didn’t help. Server issue?
Weather data provider is experiencing connection issues. I’ve given them a heads up about the issue, but no reply yet. Hopefully they'll get it sorted soon. Thanks for your patience!
Good Morning! I went insane at 2am this morning and purchased an Apple Watch Series 3 LTE and was hoping that you might consider adding that new screen that has the LTE signal strength to your synced page. I'm not sure what the watch face is called as I don't have OS 11 WatchOS 4 yet.

both of them? I have my data source set to Weather Underground but I experienced the same issues as @testcard
I still download data from Dark Sky when Weather Underground is set as the default source to fill in some of the data points WU is missing. I never had any issues with Dark Sky before, so I never had any reason to code around a connection issue with them. Obviously that will have to change :\

Hmm, I don't know if it'd be useful to have the connection strength as a complication option, since connection strength can change on a second-by-second basis and third-party complications only get ~50 updates per day... Can certainly look into it though!
Just FYI, my widget wasn't working at all after the update. Might have been because of last night's network errors. I tried force quitting the app, removing the widget and adding it back, sacrificing my firstborn to CARROT's ocular sensor, and restarting the iPhone, and then it finally started working. I forgot to test in between those last two steps though so I'm not sure which one cleared it up.

Just did a test, it looks like when WUnderground is the weather source, the widget doesn't update. If Dark Sky is the weather source, the widget updates like you said.
Strange, widget wouldn't update for me until I switched source back to dark sky. Even restarted phone, same result.
When I had WU, I waited an hour to view the widget, didn't update. Then waited 30 min, didn't update.
Changed to dark sky, waited 30 min and it updated.
