I consider the waterfield bags as the most tightly fitted, the most durable and most sleek sleeves. I had many other brands before but all had some cons. The waterfield sleeves are perfect even after years of intensive use.

I don't work for them, but I am continuously amazed with the quality of those product, the eyes for detail and the fit and finish and durability.

With kind regards,
Bas

You sure sound like you work for them, haha. Either way, it looks good, but not worth $37 for a sleeve. Blehh. compared to inCase's neoprene sleeve I'll wait.

Waterfield gets HUGE buzz with the Apple crowd.

Wouldn't make any difference if he worked for them or not :D

On etsy there probably Will be a lot of diferent cases & sleeves.
My girlfiend makes sleeves for iPads and iPhones she's going to make the same sleeves for airs too, or at least for my 11" when it arrives in a week :D

http://jolioriginals.com will show pics when it's done :)

If I would work for them, they would be even better! I am that good! :D

But serious, it is just a enthusiasm for real quality, and I have eye for that, being a designer myself too.

They look nice, just not my taste. I like that they're very customizable tho.

For now I just bought a ¥100 case ($1.10) for my $1100 computer  reason i am sure they will be tons of great cases very soon for my MBA 11.6, so for now something simple on december I will get a nice one.

I like this alot!! I want something simple like this to tuck into my book bag, I wonder how long it will take her to get some MBA 11 sleeves? I'll keep her site marked and keep checking, because this would be great.

Can I order one too??? Love them! If she is really going to make them, please let us know!

I use radtech.com screensaverz and cloth sleeve on my current Air. So I'll order that for the new baby 11.6 when they become available.

Adds almost no bulk and protects from scratches and stuff.

I have been wanting something from Hard Graft for a while, but couldn't figure out which product for... Alu uMB, iPhone, etc.

I finally decided to get this one for my MBA 11.6". A friend wanted to buy me something for my birthday, so she offered to buy it for me. Can't wait to get it!

I had one for my macbook for over 4 years and it always maintained it's shape. Will be looking to get one for the MBA. Only wish it wasn't so expensive.

Hi,

I swear by Waterfield Bags. Over the years I always used the sleeves from this company, and they are great! They don't wear and tear with very intensive use, they look slick, are light and don't scratch your laptop.

The new Macbook Air version is on it's way.

Highly recommended!

Thanks for the info. I looked at the Waterfield bag and it looks good.

I have a couple of questions though...

It looks like the bag is a neoprene liner covered by a nylon outside. I that it?

How is the padding?

How about the Lead Indium or Leather option?

The leather looks good in photos, is it better looking than the Lead Indium up close?

Thanks,

Andy

Dear Andy,

It is a sleeve and not padded back. I use the waterfield sleeve as "extra" protection for my MBP17" and put it all together in a Samsonite lightly padded bag. If you want thick padding you might have to look for a thicker bag. However for such a thin sleeve, it provides good protection.

About the Lead Indium or Leather option, That is really a matter of personal taste. I never saw the Leather version in Person. I like the Lead Indium myself.

Bas

I went to Fry's yesterday and asked if they have a FW800 self-powered 1TB drive. She looked and said no. She then said "would you like to open a Fry's credit card account?"

What the hell is wrong with people? Pay attention when people are talking to you... and if you have trouble interacting, just take a half a second before speaking and ask yourself if the question you're asking, or the advice you're giving is appropriate for the situation. A little common sense goes a long way.

At $8 bucks an hour, how would you act?
