Does anyone know where I can purchase a case for the iPad pro 12.9 2017 without a "smart" cover or smart conector gap? I hate the smart cover with a passion. I just want a normal case. Kinda like a silicone cace for the iPhone but giant.

I think your link has the smart cover "gap" that the OP said he hates. He's looking for on like Apple sells for the iPhone but as he said, giant.

I for one agree with you. However, very few companies make accessories that actually use the smart connector. If a person wanted to use one of those few options then they wouldn't be looking for a case that covered it.
