Was at target today they had 2 left was in line to buy and the dude in front of me bought both I was so mad
Success! Patience and determination paid off. I checked the target link before I went to lunch at work, and lo and behold, 16gb wifi black at one about 30 minutes away. Thankfully I have an hour long lunch so after a quick phone call to the store, I walked away with exactly the model i wanted.
Now to use the $100 gift card from best buy to buy a present for the GF (she's been dying for a PSP).

More and More targets & Bestbuys are popping up with availability with iPad 2's

My BB showed them in stock online, and they were in the cage turned with their backs facing the front. The woman told me they were for the reserve first. Maybe I'll go by tomorrow if it still shows in stock and see if they released any for sale. She said people from the list came first before they were first come first serve.
Monroeville Best buy has the white 16gb wi-fi in stock... not sure on qauntity... ne one in the pittsburgh are enjoy.

So mad I just have to rant for a minute. Been trying all week to buy ONE black iPad, with AT&T. I frantically check stock online almost every hour, finally saw that a target 30 minutes from me has them in stock. So i call, guy in electronics confirms that 5 are in stock and nobody in the store asking to buy them so i should be fine. I get there, and there is one guy in front of me asking. I say "I'd like an AT&T iPad", and the guy at the front says sure, we still have them, i'll go grab it for you. Noticed the guy in front of me was buying two and the lady selling them says I'm sorry sir there is a one per person limit...."Oh there is?, my friend is in the store let me go get him". He comes back with a guy that does not speak english and CLEARLY has no idea what he's doing in electronics. Lady sells him the 2 iPad's, guy that said he'd grab one for me comes back 2 minutes later and said they are all out.....WTF!!! I'd continue to be this persistent all week but I travel for a living and won't be back for 2 weeks, sure would have been nice to have this for the plane....

Checked best buys site this morning and saw "in store only" for the 32gb White, and only that one. Ran over at lunch and while I was waiting for a sales person to finish selling a PC I played around with the demo. A BB employee passed by and said to me, we have one 32 GB left. I said I'll take it!

Checked the links randomly at 11:30am and saw the mode that I wanted was available from the Target in Wheaton, MD. I took a long lunch and hopped on the metro to snatch up my white 32gig wifi. I got there and there was no line and no waiting. Got $30 off too since I have a Target card.
Thanks to the OP who started this thread. Definitely beats the Apple store.

a bunch of targets in NY are showing available... however they all say they have none... ?? tracker broken or lying employees?
same here... got the last white 64gb wifi at Target in Lithonia, GA. Don't have to wait in line like others 🙂

Mind if I ask which BestBuy is that? I'm asking because 3-4 BB around my area are now showing "In Store Only" for the 32GB White WiFi only models. I'm just debating whether to go to the store & try my luck. 🙂
Thanks to this list I was able to walk into my local Best Buy and pick up a black 32gb AT&T 3G today. Now to sell my white 64gb AT&T 3G.

It seems like a crapshoot. The 2 BB in my area that have them in stock would not sell them to me yet because of the reserve list. If it's a 24 hour waiting period, I'll go back tomorrow morning and see if they'll sell me one.
I was able to purchase black 32gb wi-fi this morning at Target in Santa Ana, CA. I used the link to check inventory and it showed "available." Had others coming in at the same time (hey Sarkis!) that had used the same link in this thread.
Same store showed not available now, but I can definitely vouch for the accuracy of the Target link.
One other thing. The manager at Target takes exception to full speed running through his store. 😀

Haha. I bet that Target manager must have given everyone of you a very long lecture on safety! 😛
LOL, i was the one buying the 64gb White Wifi when the 2 of you came running out of breath and that manager warned you guys. Still don't know why my credit card got declined, luckily my debit card went through OK.
