Complete Online Inventory Links - WalMart, Bestbuy, Target

Which Santa Ana store? What time? I called the Bristol/MacArthur store this morning and they didn't have any.

Checked the li k in this thread and it said it was available. Walked in and bought. Not on reserve list. Saw a stack behind counter with stick it notes that were reserves. Had customers names on them.

This was in Bowling Green, KY.

Oh, I see. Thanks for sharing the info. I really appreciate that. :) However, the BB stores around my area are only showing "In Store Only" & not "Available", so I think I'll just wait then. :(

Best Buy called me today around 12:45 to come and pick up my 16GB Black wifi iPad 2. When I got back I checked the online inventory and it did show "In Store Only" for that model. I'd say their inventory is fairly accurate but it appears they are only filling reservations. If you don't have one you are out of luck.

Unfortunately, that's very true. :( I don't have a BB reservation but I'll wait. Wish me luck. :)
 
86th st lex ave NYC BB showed about 6 models in stock. Went to the store, they said sold out of everything. I guess the tracker is a hit.

Mine said In Store Only as well.
 
Thanks to this thread, I was able to pick up one of the 2 black 32GB +3G (AT&T) iPad 2s Best Buy had in stock with no reservation. Thanks OP. :D

I assume that "In Store Only" doesn't necessarily mean that they actually have them in stock?
 
64GB White Wifi trade for 32GB Black Wifi

Hey everyone, thanks to the Target method, I was finally able to get my iPad 2. Unfortunately it's not exactly the one I wanted...I picked up a 64GB White WiFi IPad 2 just now but would really like to trade for a 32GB Black Wifi Ipad 2. I'm not looking to make any money, all I am asking is for the 32GB Black Wifi Ipad 2 + the difference in the retail price between the two models. The one I have is UNOPENED. Dave is that you? I was there at that time too. Got the white, one guy next got the black. I thought he might be scalper so we both high tailed it there.

Luckily, that target limited ipad 2s to 1 per customer.

LOL hey Dave! I wouldn't have ran but I thought you might be a scalper and I didn't know they were limiting it to 1 per person.

Had I known that, I woulda walked over. But, every other target I've read has stories of people buying multiples and you just never know.

Glad we got what we came for.

Yeah. Two BBs in my area show them as in store only, but they don't have any in the cage, and the customer service said they got them in but it was for people on the reserve list only. It's possible, I suppose, that if someone doesn't claim them in 24 hrs, they'll go on sale, but I doubt someone who deposited $100 will not claim it.
 
Thanks to the OP, I saw that my Best Buy got some in around noon today. So when i got off of work I ran over and noticed they had two left. It wasn't the model I wanted so I left at 400PM. After about an hour I gave in and went back and purchased it. So just in case someone wants to know, The Dayton South Best Buy in Dayton, Ohio has one White 64GB WiFi only model left. HURRY!!
 
Some more calling around in central and eastern NC... several BB are showing in store only, but when I call, they tell me they have none in stock. It isn't worth driving down there to see personally..
 
Reserved my white 16GB Wifi at best buy last monday 03/14, called to check on it today 03/21 and they took my name and called me an hour later to come pick my unit up. SWEET!
 
in my area,there're plenty of stock at BB,i keep calling each of the store,but all said had none.So frustrating :(
 
my best buy in orland park il had the white 32gb att 3g models, i just purchased one at 4:00 pm ...they are out there! I did not have a reservation either search over :D
