That's what I did. I called the local Business Team manager to see what they had in stock and he held one for me.

Contacted her this AM and she's going to watch. So far nothing. i ordered 15SG 2.9/16/1 TB/and video card upgrade.

Really debating on reserving a 2.7/16/512/455 at my local store and going with a 15 inch over the 13 inch I have on order. Even with the 18 month no interest I can get on either order, I'm not sure I can justify the extra $5-600 when I already have a 5k iMac that I could use the heavy lifting for when the MBP is either on my lap or on my desk just doing basic browsing and streaming video.

Ahhh the dilemma of wanting something now vs being patient.
Why upgrade at that much cost for uses as basic as that? Just asking because I am upgrading a nearly 4 year old lap top that "is" my desktop and I use it for the heavy lifting.

I think I was being enticed more by the ability to pay off the machine over a year and a half which makes a $2800 purchase feel more affordable instead of having to do it in one shot. The iMac is also more powerful at much less of a cost too.

I think based on how I really don't need the power the 15'' offers aside from the screen size, I would be better off just investing in a new 2k or 4k monitor to replace my 4 year old 1080p one. I will benefit more from a new monitor that I can use for the new computer and for my Xbox so it will get plenty of use. Perfect timing as well with Black Friday a week away and the MBP coming the week after.

Next week when I am home for Thanksgiving break I am going to try and swing by an Apple Store to see if they have any stock. Don't know how much longer I can wait. Sucks there isn't an Apple Store by my school.

No need to go in person anymore just to check, you can reserve one in store. If you're looking for base model with touch bar in 13 or 15, they have them in stock in almost every store around me.

Mines BTO unfortunately, base 15" with 512 GB SSD.

Ordered a 13" 3.3/512/16 on 10/28 at 1:24PM EST. Anyone else here share the Dec 6 - Dec 12 delivery window?

While everyone else in the main order thread is eagerly tracking their MBPs for delivery this week, let's gather here to share in our collective despair for missing the first couple waves of deliveries and discuss how we are coping with the wait.

I ordered late on 10/27. 13" touchbar 3.1/512/16. I was given Delivers 05 Dec, 2016 - 09 Dec, 2016 by Standard Shipping. Still listed as Processing Items Ships: 4-5 weeks.

Delivery window: Dec. 5 - 9th. 13" stock model with TB, ordered about 7 hours after the keynote.

Here's hoping we all see our MBP's a little early!

I seem to be in the same bucket as you. 13" TB 12/5 - 12/9. howdy neighbor. lol :)

Check istocknow.com. Those are the types of configurations that I'm seeing available in stores around here.
Well I know what I will be doing next week when I get home. How do I know which has a base 15" with 512 storage? It just gives the model numbers, and it is a bit confusing.

I'm not versed in the specific model numbers but I think you can search them on apple.com or for that matter I would be almost certain the info is on here somewhere.

Actually if you click the list that istock.now gives you when you click on a store location you can click on the various items it shows and they take you to the Apple online store.

I am since I had to wait until Oct 28th since I went back and forth on whether or not to get the touch bar version (replacing my 13 inch Air) and I needed to go to an Apple Store to return an iPad Air 2 for a gift card (it was beyond 14 days return period).

I should've just ordered immediately and called to change my payment info.
When you want to change your method of payment, they cancel your order and make a new one so it wouldn't have changed a thing, don't feel bad about it

That could be great news for you! Which config did you have?

This morning I woke up to find a text at 3AM from Discovercard saying a very large transaction from AppleOnlineStoreUS had posted to my account. There was also another text from Discovercard at the same time asking if I made this purchase. lol I replied "Y" as soon as my waking brain could process what it was asking. lol

The charge currently shows as a Pending Charge with my credit card company.

In the Apple Store App my 13" TB 3.1 / 512 / 16 still shows up under Processing Items with a ships 4-5 weeks and delivers 05Dec - 09Dec.

Maybe things will start moving along for our bunch!

I ordered a 13" TB model on 10/27 at 7:00 PM PDT and my delivery window was 12/5 - 12/9. My order is still processing, but my card was charged this morning.
