Can Confirm! My order is also "Preparing for Shipment". I am located northeast PA. Order time 3:03am EST. SS w/ black sport band.
No shipment info yet. No email either.

So searching by just my order number or phone number comes up with nothing on the fedex site. I put both of them in the search field along with my 9 digit zip(xxxxx-xxxx) and this page comes up(yes i cut both my order number and phone number out)

I think you've found a glitch in the matrix

That didn't work for me. I got nothing. Do you need dashes for the phone number? Were they done back to back? Or on different lines?

Same here, 3 items, with 3 Watches Ordered... Status of "In transit" when holding over the status marker. You need the full zip code i.e. 12345-6789

I imagine many are headed to Hubs and distribution centers and then will be moving from there once apple pushes the shipped button... Like many of the iPhones, there are usually pallets of them staged at these hubs prior to the official launch date.

I tried that as well and got same screen.
HOWEVER, IF I TYPE The WRONG ORDER NUMBER, I STILL GET THE SAME RESULTS...
Clearly, it's a FedEx Glitch

It's weird. I put in my info for two separate orders. I have a 38mm Pink Sport on order with a May 13-27 shipping date (ordered at 3:06a) and a 38mm Green sport with 4/24 - 5/8 shipping (ordered at 3:22a when I realized they were still showing launch delivery window). They both show up as above.

Pretty sure that those have no relevance to the  Watch as the three purple dashes means it's on a truck for delivery which is obviously false.

No, if you hover over the 3rd purple bar it says "in transit" but won't give any further details.
 
I do not think that FedEx stuff means anything. You can change the numbers around and you still get to that screen.

Did you order Apple Care? I did and Apple used the Apple Care charge as a way to see if I have funds in my account.

I saw the full amount for AppleCare pending on my account For a few days, then it dropped off. Not sure why it didn't just charge.
 
Never mind, I got the FedEx thing working. Though it's just a glitch, I can set the ship date to waaaaayyy earlier and it still shows the same two "packages".
 
I have tried to search on FedEx and can not get it to work. I've tried putting my order number and phone number on the same line, and on separate line, and changing the date and cannot get it to work.

I also tried on UPS to search by reference number and cannot get it to work.

I ordered two watches within the first three minutes.
 
I had an unfortunate situation on Monday where I was mugged and they took my wallet, including the card I used to pay for my watch. Wasn't until I called the bank when I realised that Apple will charge that card and will decline.

I called Customer Services from the hospital quite stressed and explained the situation and the advisor said that I would have to cancel the order and reorder and go to back of the queue. I could have cried at this point. I asked to speak to someone else for clarification and he said they are only going to tell you the same thing.
Eventually I was transferred to the Service Desk and they said to leave as is and when they come for payment it will decline and I can then phone with new card details and will still keep my place in the queue.

I called the next day and spoke to 2 other people and they confirmed what Service Desk said. PHEW!!
Now I am constantly checking emails and Apple Store App waiting for the decline.

Does anyone know when they will start charging cards?


buy an apple store gift card, then have your payment info changed to the gift card.
