Has anyone else's order gone from processing to shipping?

Anyone else? No one has and the first patches of orders were all quoted the with the 2 week window. No one received a 4/24 only date.

Standard was the only shipping option because they are all being shipped expedited like all non Mac product launches. They messed up and offered expedited on previous launches then had to credit everyone back that selected it. Even if you recieve on the 24th you probably won't get a shipping notification until Tuesday. May very well skip the "preparing to ship" status.

I think they gave a range, so they wouldn't get calls right off the bat on the 24th when the watch isn't in people's hands right then, I've already seen posts of people saying they are going to basically throw a tantrum if they don't get it on exactly the 24th. Mine is scheduled in the first date range, and I do hope that I get it on the 24th but if I don't I'm not going to throw a fit and call Apple all angry because I felt I had been promised. They gave a date range, some companies don't. I have been waiting on a TV I ordered on April 4th. Every time I call to see if it is in yet, I get told no and they don't know when it will be in. That makes me more upset than Apple giving me a date range.

I didn't say milliseconds and if their yields are low this would make perfect sense for the quoted 2 week delivery window. Within 5 minutes they could have sold hundreds of thousands of watches so they could still go out in pretty big batches day by day.

What other reason can you think they quoted this window when the first orders on product launches usually always get launch day as the delivery date which Apple hasn't had an issue meeting?

If anything they definitely had some kind of concern up front or they would have just quoted the 24th to at least the very first orders. Hopefully it was just a concern and no major set backs have occurred so most watches will come on launch day with the people in the first delivery window.

I think they are likely going by shipment groups rather than who ordered first. When you factor in hundreds of thousands of orders, it's going into the milliseconds territory when it comes to who came first..

I think the 2 week range is due to geographical locations, product model, warehouse location, etc. Just my opinion

I don't understand why people, over the weekend, are asking if shipping status has changed?

You will not see a change till Tuesday or Wednesday with a possibility of Monday.

This is the way it always has been.

I think it's pretty simple.... You'll get it it within the dates provided. What's so hard to understand about that? I mean of course they want to give it to you Day 1, but with constraints and all that, who knows? Just be happy you'll be one of the first to get it. Instead of seeing people excited about getting it, it's people drawing conclusions and philosophizing about the delivery dates and accuracy and all this other junk. Seriously guys, relax and enjoy, the future will be on our wrists soon....

If I don't get mine on the 24th then I'm going to devote all my time to start a massive campaign to boycott Apple!

All jokes aside why would Apple do this if they were confident of a launch day delivery for the first orders? They have never done this over all the years with iPhones and iPads and didn't have issues delivering on a mass scale so why quote a 2 week window now?

Once again I'm not saying it isn't possible to get on launch day but Apple had to have some uncertainty. I'm sure the 2 week window is causing more calls if anything.

That could be possible. I thought you were one of those people that have convinced themself they are definitely getting on launch day despite there being a 2 week delivery window. Maybe so, maybe not.

Hello, I am in the same boat as all of you ... I work for Apple, ordered mine on 4/10 and got the 4/24-5/8 delivery date. I am really hoping to get it that first day but I will be just as happy if it arrives on any day in that range. I am checking my order status pretty much every hour as well hoping to see a change but nothing yet. Will feel a lot better once it shows it has shipped :)

If 4/24 appears anywhere in your confirmation, I see no reason why you will not get your watch on launch day.

Woke up this morning and habitually checked my order status and in the fuzzy haze of 7am and not having coffee, I could have sworn my order status narrowed from the two week window to the 24th. After taking a moment to actually look harder, just turns out my eyes were paying tricks on me :(

Word! My thoughts exactly. I understand it's all exciting but some people have turned hopes into reality in their minds and could be setting themselves up for a pretty big dissapointment.

Seems the Apple Support Profile site is having "Maintenance".
Could it mean time for Apple Watch?

It probably means we'll all be getting our watches even earlier then launch day!

Yeah, I'm sure they just quoted another 2 weeks out on all orders just for ***** and giggles but I imagine you're just being sarcastic in the first place.

Lol, nothings guaranteed. I think some people will get their's on the 24th, but not all. I hope for the best, but expect the worst. All I'm saying is I think shipment groups such as 4/24-5/8 are probably delivered based on factors other than specific time placed

I always heard Apple employees were discouraged from posting on forms about Apple products?

I'm glad your just as excited as the rest of us.

Hopping in now to enjoy this thread, popcorn at the ready. This will be my second Apple preorder experience, after my iPhone 5s in 2013.

Wanted a SS model with Black Leather Loop, but chose Classic Buckle instead at 12:25am on April 10th to get a 4/24-5/8 shipping estimate. Hoping for 4/24 delivery with y'all... and feeling confident. Predict status change on Monday.

Preordered with MasterCard and briefly saw a temporary charge for AppleCare+ only. It has now evaporated.

Have a Black Sport Band, extra cable and Spigen charging stand on order for delivery sometime in "May".

Cheers to all and good luck!

Apple produced well over 2 million watches for launch day shipment.

Everyone --- that's EVERYONE --- that was in the first wave got the extended ship dates on top of 4/24.

It has already been stated over and over again on this forum that Apple expects everyone in that first wave to get their watch on Friday.

You will know in two short days when your status changes.

The FedEx glitch is not working for me. Oh well.

Still states "preparing to ship" here. Give the two week window 4/24 - 5/8 also.

I ordered via the iPhone App at like 3:01am.

"Preparing to ship" on the Apple site?

Mine still says "Processing", and I have a 24/4 - 8/5 shipping date...

I think when you will see the status change will be dependant on where Apple are shipping from.

If they ship from China? to the UK normally takes 3 days door to door via UPS (normally) into Europe then in to one of the hubs in the UK.

If they are already in the UK at Tamworth, then you will see the status change normally a day or at most two before expected delivery.

This will be my 12th Apple product and 6th Apple product launch. Here is my opinion. I think several of us will have our Watches on the 24th. Most of us? Maybe. But I doubt it. I don't think that all of us will and I don't think none of us will, otherwise I don't think the "4/24" would be in the range. I think there is either a supply issue or just some other logistical issue. What, I do not know. I think Apple has put in the "5/8" as a complete everything-possible-went-wrong SHTF OMG WTF date, just in case of the worst happening. My opinion is we will all have our watches between 4/24-5/1. That being said, I could be 100% wrong and we may all be waiting til 11:59 on 5/8 to finally get our precious Watches. It's just my opinion. :)

What is your source that Apple has already produced 2 million watches? Who exactly at Apple expects everyone in the first wave to receive their watches on Friday? Some sales reps over the phone or chat? You do realize anyone that made those claims is totally speculating? The vast majority of those reps don't even work for Apple and are sub contracted not that it really makes a difference.

I know a higher level phone sales manager and he says they have been informed nothing except that the watches should arrive sometime in the 2 week window which is why they quoted it and haven't changed it. Makes sense right?

Some people will definitely get their watches on launch day but no one knows if everyone that ordered in the first wave will. You can make yourself believe everyone will but no one really knows at this point plain and simple. I hope we all do and those that are speculating end up being correct! If they are they didn't really know but guessed right.

I'm also sad to inform you Santa Clause isn't real :(

Maybe I'm just a gerk but hate to see some kids potentially heartbroken over all this.
