I have tried to search on FedEx and can not get it to work. I've tried putting my order number and phone number on the same line, and on separate line, and changing the date and cannot get it to work.

I also tried on UPS to search by reference number and cannot get it to work.

I ordered two watches within the first three minutes.

Don't worry about it, the whole FedEx thing is just an irrelevant site glitch.

With previous launches, orders normally made progress on Saturday or Monday. As Saturday is a no-go, it looks like we look forward to Monday.

I'm hoping to get mine on the 24th but believe there is definitely a chance it could deliver later or Apple wouldn't have set a two week delivery range. Most launches always have a set date so I believe rumors of possible manufacturing issues are most likely true.

The difference of minutes of when an order was placed could potentially be the difference of days when your watch arrives. I'm not trying to be pessimistic but see no other logic to the shipping date window. I'm always trying not to psyche myself up too much to avoid tears if my watch doesn't come right away.

Yes, I'm being sarcastic about crying and I also hope everyone will receive their watch on the 24th. I hope no one is totally devastated if they don't. Perhaps Apple noticed there may be a snag in production so used the window to be safe but everything is panning out fine. The point is they wouldn't use the window to deliberately under promise and over delivery.

I agree we probably won't get any shipping notifications until a few days prior to delivery based on previous launches.

That would be a logistics nightmare. I highly doubt Apple takes the time to sort orders down to the mili-second to choose who to ship to first. To my knowledge, it's always been been by 1st shipment, 2nd shipment, and so forth

I used the Apple Store App to pre-order the watch. I didn't take the time to add Apple Care or select preference for delivery. As a result I have standard shipping. I don't see a way to add Apple Care or for example pre-noon delivery. Is there a way to do this while my job is "Processing"?

Sydney, Australia here. I was one of the lucky ones who has a delivery set for 24/4 - 8-5. I suspect Apple may update my order over night / into Monday morning from "processing items" to "preparing for shipment" At least I hope so anyway.

There was no shipping options, everyone got "Standard" shipping.

Also Sydney Australia here. I'm thinking tonight will be out night for updates.

I hope so. I wonder if Apple will cancel my order / move it on over to the next person if I don't have enough funds in my bank account if / when they try to charge my card say overnight.

I don't get paid until Tuesday - I hope they don't charge until Tueday night haha. Would hate to forfeit my watch ..

Yeah I bet it's on Cali time though just like the pre order started at 12:01 am PST

Based on passed launches, have shipping status ever been updated on a Sunday day/night? If so what time and time zone?

I didn't say milliseconds and if their yields are low this would make perfect sense for the quoted 2 week delivery window. Within 5 minutes they could have sold hundreds of thousands of watches so they could still go out in pretty big batches day by day.

What other reason can you think they quoted this window when the first orders on product launches usually always get launch day as the delivery date which Apple hasn't had an issue meeting?

If anything they definitely had some kind of concern up front or they would have just quoted the 24th to at least the very first orders. Hopefully it was just a concern and no major set backs have occurred so most watches will come on launch day with the people in the first delivery window.
