^that thing looks identical to the eBay clone above
It doesn't look the same to me
Yeah, let's see some pics of these said problems Marco. It sounds like he's just mad he paid so much and that nearly the same case can be had for 5 bucks so now he wants his money back.As soon as I get mine I will confirm. This marco123 person says he has all these problems but hasn't confirmed by posting photos of the clear case. I've only seen pics from a black transparent showing that its not quite as transparent as stated, which is disappointing but not the end of the world.
I have a clear one and a black transparent one coming and I paid extra for shipping to the Midwest.
I was a fan of the Desmay for my iPhone 4S. But the way they have handled orders for the iPhone 5 case has really turned me off to the company. They post all these messages like "BUY NOW!!! HURRY!!!!" on their FB and Twitter, but they don't have the good colors in stock, and they have no pre-order mechanism, or any reliable way to be informed when new inventory comes in.This is the closest to the Desmay case from another thread. I ordered a clear and black. They also have a video on the auction page. I just noticed this but it looks like the case protects the bezel of the phone?

So if Desmay isn't good......what are the next best cases in this class to purchase?
- Pinlo?
- Ebay knock offs?
- Incipio Feather?
The case does not fit the phone properly.
The desmay "D" symbol on the back of the case has worn off after 12 hours of use.
The case does not fit properly at the bottom.
The case has flex strain damage on the back.
The case is not uniform in it's colour.
There are sharp edges that have not been finished properly.
The screen protector is damaged.
The case that the cover arrived in is cracked.
The case does not fit similar to the picture on the website.
The case when fitted causes the phone to wobble when set on a flat surface.
I had the desmay for my 4S and the fit on the slight5 is nowhere near the quality of the one for the 4S.
This is nothing more than the ebay knockoffs with a cheap white D on the back.
Can someone that has the Desmay Slight for iPhone 5 answer this question: does this case cover enough of the edge that you can put the phone face down on a table without scratching the screen?
Thanks!

I don't have the case, but I know for a fact that it doesn't.
Overall I liked how thin it was but to be warned it is very fragile.

I know a lot of you are on the fence and I always appreciate the advice and pictures I find on Macrumors, so I wanted to provide my initial thoughts of this case and some pictures. Hope this helps!
My Case History
First, let me say that I hate cases, but always use them because I'm afraid of breaking the iPhone during a drop. On my iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s, I used the Apple bumper (after an exhaustive search). I liked the extra grip and the ability for it to safeguard the phone during a minor fall (I dropped them several times without any damage). When I received the iPhone 5, I had already ordered the Case-Mate Barely There, but hated the feel of it and went in search of something new. I decided to get Applecare+ (for falls) and a thin case just for scratches and to let the shape and most of the phone's beauty show through.
Desmay Slight 5
After reading lots of reviews about the iPhone 4/4s version, I decided to try the Desmay slight. This case seemed like the perfect fit for me -- protection against scratches while retaining most of the look and feel of the phone. Unfortunately, this case just doesn't feel right (it's far too slippery, has sharp corners, and the back bows out). Plus, after only a couple of days, the back is all scratched up (I've been extra careful with this case) and there are stress marks on the back in the form of discoloration. Lastly, and more importantly, the case looks cheap (I know this is subjective, but it doesn't look nearly as nice as the 4/4s versions pictured on Macrumors). In fact, it doesn't even look like the website -- it has an odd tint to it and poor level of transparency. So, I'm taking it off and trying something else.
