Desmay Slight 5 Order Thread

if mine looks that bad ill lose it.. im really not looking forward to getting this case anymore. Im for sure gonna be ordering the power support case when its released.
 
Yeah, the case looks terrible from all these pics here. I'm going to return mine also when I receive it. My Ringke Slim so far has been great and seems to be better quality than Desmay.
 
It's going to cost too much to ship this junk back. Already 5 bucks for shipping and at least 10 bucks to ship it back. There must be another way to get a refund
 
That really sucks. Does not look like it's worth $20+

I was going to wait until I read some reviews before ordering, and I'm glad I did.

It's almost comical how transparent they make the black case on the iPhone appear on their website, when in reality it's not see through at all. It really is false advertising.
 
I agree, I don't like being deceived. I only got this because the reviews for the iPhone 4 were great. I don't get it.
 
These look terrible. It's laughable really that it's going to cost me $10+ to ship the thing back to Hong Kong to get my refund.

I try to do a lot of research before I buy cases, and I was really excited to order from Desmay since I've read nothing but excellent reviews for the 4/4S models.

This is really frustrating.
 
Wow $10 to ship that crap back? I'm just gonna report it to my credit card. That is screwing people by false advertisement. First I'm going to try to reject the shipment to see if that works.

If somebody has disputed through PayPal, please update your outcome. $28 for a cheap plastic is a no go.

The $ amount is likely too low to dispute.

The 4/4s version suffered from some of the same issues. Easily scuffed,logo wiped off,fit was not perfect.

Its why a switched to the ebay knockoffs long ago.

I like how they saved thier ass about it not being transparent as well with the "color may not be as accurate as product color"

PayPal won't do nothing for you once they read the fine print

If everyone makes Paypal claim PayPal will do something
 
If everyone is still looking for thin transparent cases, I'd suggest the cheap ones from ebay. They only cost 2-5 dollars each and the quality seems better than these Desmay cases. I received my 1st one (I ordered a few different ones) and I took some pictures here:

damn seems like they dont ship to Hawaii!!
 
I am struggling to believe this is the same company run by the same people that made the 4S version.
They are like night and day.
One thing that buying this case is taught me is to wait until 12south bring out the bookbook.
Most of these cases that are released at a new iphone model are trash and just there to cash-in.
