I ordered my 16gb white yesterday around noon and I just checked it and it is on the fedex truck for delivery. WOW! All of 1 1/2 business days not ten like guy said. LOL I don't even get to Atlanta till the 31st. Man that was fast. Maybe because I ordered a white one...

Ordered monday and mine shipped yesterday. I hope to pick it up today. I thought I would have time to research cases and have one ordered and delivered by the time I got the phone. I never thought that I would get the phone before the case.
 
I know must be not many want the white... Oh well. Sucks for me though as my new toy will be sitting on the shelf for a whole week before I can pick it up... :( almost wanted it to take 5-7 days. LOL
 
Same here.. ordered white 16GB Monday evening. It shipped last night, and will be available for pickup today.. :cool:
 
I guess I'll chime in as well.

I ordered a Black 16Gb on Monday July 14.

I am currently #9 on my queue and it looks like they only shipped 8 phones yesterday. That would no be fun to have to wait another day.

On a side note, what has happened to:http://www.irovr.com/~att.cfm It hasn't worked for a while.
 
Looks like I'm 7th in queue as of 1007. Oh well.....the wait continues. From looking at the queue.....several sporatic ones have shipped well after I bought mine. White 16g's I would suspect.

I ordered mine tuesday 7/15 and it still hasn't shipped yet. They told me it could take 3 weeks, but I hope that its sooner. I was using http://www.wheresmydamniphone.com and I'm 11th in the queue at my store. Strangley some people who ordered the same day as me had their phones shipped out 2 days later. I ordered a black 16gb, so maybe that model is in higher demand, anyone else know about that?
 
The white iPhones seems to be the only ones shipping within 24 to 48 hours of the order. As for both Black iPhone models its taking about 7 to 10 business days from the trend I am seeing in the forum so far.
 
I almost feel guility telling you all that I ordered my phone on Monday the 21st and it is on the Fedex truck for delivery today (Wed the 23rd). It is white though - which seems to confirm everyone's theory that white models are shipping faster. FYI the store I ordered from in Phoenix is new - 20th and Camelback.

Thanks for all the support and information folks. Now it's time to obsess over Fedex tracking...
 
AT&T site down?

I can't access the AT&T order status page or wheresmydamniphone.com. I don't know if AT&T's site is down or they finally shut down access to wheresmydamniphone.com.

Either way, I still don't have my 16GB black. From the last time I was able to use wheresmydamniphone.com, I had been #71 since I ordered it last Thursday (7/17) and no iPhones had shipped to my store (NYC AT&T store on 17th & 6th) since 7/19(!). Crazy. I'm hoping to have mine by Christmas.

Apple needs to get that supply chain rolling. This is ridiculous. I'm tired of waiting.
 
AT&T has now taken away the ability to check on your order via order number. I'm guessing too many of us were using the queue sites to check orders around us. Now you can only enter your cell phone number or home/work phone number to check your order.

I'm still waiting...ordered 7/12 and still nothing. (Black 16gig)
 
FYI...

AT&T have changed their order status page now. If you go to https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status which is the URL for most of the scripts created to track orders you will see that the script now only accepts wireless number or home/contact number for tracking purposes.

Most likely the reason why most scripts are failing now, and has eliminated the possibility for those of us whose email was entered wrongly to track this.

I saw mine this AM so the change is recent.
 
AT&T's old site is still showing up for me (where you enter the order ID) and I wrote down the # of the 5 guys who were in front of me... so by entering those in one by one I am able to conclude that I am now #3 in line. I hope today is the day my phone ships!
 
Ordered my 16GB White at 18:00 on 7/21 and it has been delivered to the ATT store in South Boston, MA and I am picking it up after work tonight. Fastest DF ever as far as I am concerned. It is about the only thing ATT has done right for me since being with them off and on the last 10 years.
 
after the change to the website my order status changed from backordered. Previously it said quantity back ordered 1 now is says 0. I guess my shipping is still backordered though lol

I ordered a 16 gb black btw. Well see if it ever ships. Funny thing though is i was 68'th in line at my store. Probably an error. *shrug

its not working...do you put the store zip code? i tried that but it wasnt working (ie when i did order number before, i put in the zip code which was 10036 - its no longer working when i put that with my mobile number)

Yes I tried with the store zip code and my cell # and it worked. Maybe they input your # incorrectly or something?

tried it again using the zip code and then my contact (instead of mobile number even though its a cingular based number) and this time it worked

Mine doesnt work - Neither my Mobile Number (Verizon) which i was going to move over to Cingular and Neither does my Girlfriend's number who has iPhone Version 1

Update: now my girlfriend's number is what brings up the order with the store shipping zip code - i guess you have to use what will be the primary line number on the account

Called AT&T about why people who i know ordered a 16GB Black on monday were getting theirs before me - even though I had ordered mine on 7/12 said they had no good explaination other than it looks like it is a lottery based on what warehouse your order is being shipped from. My warehouse currently shows -10 iPhones available.

How do you know what your warehouse is stocking? Now that the order checkers are down, this will be our next best tool!
 
My order was CANCELED

I ordered a 8gb black on 7-15. After much waiting, my order is mysteriously canceled today. I call ATT where i bought it: Most of their order have been canceled. I saw before that that from my store (17109, Colonial Park Mall, Harrisburg) only 4 DF orders were filled. Period. Today is the 23rd. Anyway, to make a long story short, I lost my place in queue, and now am faced with the question: Should I reorder (and risk cancellation again), or should I say forget ATT, wait untill the 3G is unlocked, and go with another carrier? I must say, even before I signed a contract with them, I have had nothing but problems. Apple and ATT need to get their crap together. Has anyone else experienced something similar? I don't think I even want this phone now.:mad:
