My phone is listed as zero under backorder, but frt is still backordered

So what does this mean? Item 1 is listed as FRT, but still listed as back-ordered.

The phone itself is no longer listed as back-ordered. Does this mean it's possible it will ship soon? If anyone knows, please enlighten me. Thank you.

This happens almost daily. They get iPhones in, backordered status goes to zero, they fulfill all the orders they can, status goes back to 1 if you didn't make the cut. Frt just means freight and will stay at 1 until your phone ships.

Yeah buddy, it'll happen alot for the sake of repeating check back a couple of pages it has been explain a ton of times in the 55+ pages to this thread.

on second thought what else do I have to do other then wait for my iphone :eek:

It just means that the warehouse has received your a shipment of the same type of iphone you ordered (if you ordered 16GB black, they got shipment of 16GB black at the warehouse). I am assuming you ordered yours fairly recent so you are probably high in the queue for your store, so it will flip/flop back and forth between 0 and 1 for the back-ordered status until it actually ships.

The real tell tale sign is when they take the funds from your CC and not talking about the initial hold they put on it. When this happens you will get a shipping email notification then, because of ATT order status web app delay, your status will change to shipped and you will have a tracking number from FEDEX.

So the day of delivery the store should give you a call and then you go pick it up/activate it. Then iphone bliss :cool:
 
You need to click the 'send' button as opposed to hitting enter. Then it should work. Use the zipcode of the att store and your ph no

True, and that's retarded. It must rely on javascript to fill out the GET request and go to the correct page. They could have easily made it work just by submitting the form.
 
I'm a bit worried since I didn't have any stock/backorder changes on my status today. Did anyone else's not show 0 at some point during the day? Mine was 1 for Backorder all day. And I'm #29 or so in my queue as of last night. I'm hoping I got a little closer today.

Mine (16GB black) went to zero today and is still there. Didn't change yesterday though.
 
Received shipping notice!

Well, I ordered my Black 8GB from my local South Pasadena CA ATT store on the 15th and they told me then that it would take 5 to 7 business days.

I tried several time to check my DF status online, to no avail, but today I received an email that my iPhone had shipped, along with a tracking number. My phone was shipped Fedex Overnite (I didn't pay any extra for that) from Texas, and has a delivery date of tomorrow!! :) So total wait for me was 6 business days. Now I am out looking for a decent case for my baby.

Hang in there guys. :cool:

None of my phone numbers are bringing up the order status. Tried all phone numbers I can think of. Anyone have other ideas?

btw, I am transferring from verizon with a new number, and haven't been assigned a new number yet, so I'm using my work number, home number, alternate work number... none of them work. (I gave them my home number as the contact # though).

If the website doesn't work, you can call "877-782-8870" and it's basically like the website but with an automated voice thing. Works the same way, just a bit slower.
 
Yeah, did that earlier. Guess I'm just being picky. Plus at work it's much easier to check online instead of pickinig up the phone.

1. Can the Apple store do my switch from Verizon and port my numbers?

2. You guys think I should go for it and hit the Apple store in the morning, and cancel my DF while I am there???

1.The Apple Store can port your number, as long as you're in the same region. No problem. I'm getting my Verizon number ported from a different region which is a different process altogether, and Apple can't do that, but if you have a simple port, go to the :apple: store!

2. You can't cancel your DF until it comes into the AT&T store, and I've read here that Apple Stores aren't supposed to sell you an iPhone if you already have a DF order pending. I don't know how true the last part is, but I know for a fact that you won't be able to cancel your DF until it arrives (unless AT&T screws up somewhere).

I just ordered a white iPhone, because I've seen here that the white isn't backordered, and my local AT&T store confirmed it when they told me that they're averaging 2 days for the white. :D I have to order through them, or I would have gotten an 8g, but I'm good with the white too. :apple:!

Congrats! I wish I could be able to pick it up tomorrow as well!

My brother received the call around 12:30 yesterday, so I wouldn't expect your store to make you wait throughout the afternoon either.

Thanks a bunch, yeah I am aware that they can't cancel it until it comes in, and I am good with that. Just debating on the hour and a half drive to the Apple store in the morning. Not to mention the wait in line...
