Not even remotely possible... Apple is selling AirPods like hot cake. No way.
Many people - probably more than 50% - are not interest in music at all and don't want to stick anything into their ears. To them the value of AirPods or the value of anything you plug into your ears is zero. Many people find AirPods do not fit their ears or become uncomfortable to wear.
Yeah. Earphones are going towards wireless more and more, and I think it’s only a matter of time. I actually think at some point there will be an iPhone with no ports at all. But 2020 is too early for several reasons, not least of which that Apple wouldn’t want to cut off the not-insignificant AirPod revenue stream. One day sure. But not next fall.
They already do...How about a fast charger? That would be a bold move.
Others might, I don’t think Apple will. Just look how long it took Apple to include a better charger
While this rumor seems questionable for now, it is certainly possible that Apple simply feels it is time to include something more modern than EarPods with its iPhones.
Has the author forgotten how long Apple made a 16 GB iPhone?
No it doesn’t. Nobody would buy the pros. They will never be as cheap as the wired ones. Etc.It is actually possible. Apple now sells Air Pods Pro, which of course has taken a lot of sales from normal Air Pods. Manufacturing is probably cheaper now then when they first released. Say that the 2020 iPhone is mostly a face lift from the iPhone 11, for the same premium price, but with lower production costs, it makes totally sense to include classic Air Pods.
Oh they definitely think about it, as in, which made up click-bait headline will bring us the most readers to maximise our advertising revenue.Which raises another question: Does DigiTimes even think about their predictions? Like, when they review supply chains and come up with an idea, do they take a step back and ask themselves if it even makes sense?
