My MacBook is named Bernard because I got the black one. (There's a joke in there, but it's been largely missed by my friends.)
My current home network is free of a naming scheme, mostly because I wasn't the one who set it up. The network is named after my apartment number, the Mac mini that serves as a media server is just 'miniserver', and I can't remember the name of the Linux box of many kernel recompiles. (I just refer to it as 'that bloody thing'.) We did recently add an iMac G4 that someone was throwing out, and that got named Oscar.
My three work computers have never given into an interesting naming scheme, so they're currently named nadyne-pb (my PowerBook), nadyne-mini (my Mac mini), and nadyne-svc (my Windows box, sitting headless and out-of-sight in the back corner, accessed only via RDC).

She made her own marshmallows! What normal person in their right mind makes their own marshmallows!!!? She cannot be trusted! I bet they were good though.
(Heh, nice addition of the white text.)
Yes, they are good. I make my own marshmallows every once in awhile. Find a good recipe for them, and add some ground chocolate (I especially like Ghiradelli ground chocolate) when you're mixing everything together. It's quite yummy.
... but I'm not claiming to be either normal or in my right mind, either.
