Well, I've been going back and forth, and I finally made a decision.
I was taking a look at my iPad a little more closely, and to my amazement, there are now a number of dead pixels. I'm 100% positive that these were not here before.
So, I decided that I'm definitely taking it back tomorrow. I'll update this thread when I get back. Wish me luck!
have ipad in a dark room with solid black displaying... i doubt if any ipad has no bleeding in a dark environment.
Sorry, what are you using to show the solid black display? Best I can come up with still shows the safari navigation bar.
Go to this site and download the black picture. Make sure you're in a completely dark room, and see if you can find any bleeding on the sides. This also helps with dead pixels.
