I was told by an apple genius rattle issue is by design, didn't argue about it.
I have an iPhone 5. Same design as iPhone 5s.
Nothing is rattling here. The power button is as firm as it can be.
I tried this earlier mine had a little bit of a rattle then I held the power button and it stopped. So no rattle here.

Dude you just said yours rattles.
Yeah from the power button, so no internal rattles.
the power button rattle is what this thread is about
When the temperature is low, it could happen. Thermal expansion is the reason. It must have something to do with temperature.
Today it was remarkably cold outside, and my iPhone started rattling as soon as I woke him up.
Should it wear a scarf? Suggestions anyone?

How can we explain this?I got this info from chipmunk.nl. Can you post a YT-clip and shake it a bit? Just for fun?
Cause so far I tested a hell of a lot phones who rattles like mine. It won't be cheap for Apple to fix this mess, if everyone who has a rattlesnake in the phone sends them for repair.
It was a 32gb space grey F2. I would but I sent it back because it had bad screen interlacing and the screen looked worse than my old 4, and much worse than the first 5S that I had.
But to answer my own question, yeah the non rattle phones do indeed exist. The button moved like my old one, but didnt rattle which was interesting.
