If I am reading it right, his 2G plan will expire on that date and get automatically converted to the 3G plan.
That makes more sense. But I thought SpaceKitty said for those who had the original $20 Iphone Plan can keep it.

Update. Haha I never wrote my review. Success! It took me less than one hour to get the first two texts. The 3rd text came about 15-30 minutes later and I checked on olam and I'm on the unlimited now.
Some users said they were experiencing mms failure. Mine sent mms just fine with no other data loss or anything out of the ordinary. Thanks again op

I'm currently on the $20 2G unlimited data package, and my account doesn't list any expiration dates.
my brother did the whole taking out my sim card and putting it in the iphone 2g and now it says on my phone i have the "iphone unlimited data plan + 200 texts" is that right? im also on shared unlimited text. i'm just wondering if he did this whole thing right

Pulled a razr V3 IMEI off google called and did it all, it shows me having an iPhone 3G (my i4 hasn't arrived yet) with the unlimited minutes/data plan, JUST did it so no txt message from AT&T yet just waitin for everything else to fall in place. If this works I will name my first born whatever you want me too.
Just got both text messages, on the 3g unlimited data plan! WOO! Though I too have 2 unlimited 3g plans for data to pick from, should I leave it at the one auto selected or pick the 2nd one?

YOUR plan is set to expire, not everyone's. I'm guessing you just bought a new iphone.
i can confirm this is still working called at around 7:58 got texts and email around 20 mins ago. Now im on unlimited and dont have to worry about tethering my jailbroken iphone.... so about 2 hrs is the average i have an imei someone can use if they dont have one
Still on the $30 dumbphone plan. I changed the APN settings, so I am getting data (using the trick posted earlier in the thread),
but not updated to the iPhone unlimited plan yet.
