It's been two days, and it's gradually going up, I never used the data on the dumbphone before I got unlimited, that first one is the dumbphone unlimited.

When did you switch? It took me 6 hours to get the texts and email.

Does your OLAM look like this?
And have you called a lot using the iPhone?
I kept making calls and rebooting it.

Hmmm it looks right. Still no texts? Have you tried rebooting and resetting your network settings? I had to do that after I got the texts for internet to work. Not sure why you haven't gotten the texts though.

Hey could you tell me what it says when you call *DATA#? One of the deactivated ones keep going up as I state from my previous posts.

My new billing cycle has started. But last month (when I made the switch) it said :

Next Bill Cycle: 8/2/201
Data (MB) 152.8 of unlimited
Data (MB) 114.9 of 200 (Deactivated)

So I am not sure why your deactivated is still going up.

This is strange, I checked my OLAM for usage and it says 0 MB. My new billing cycle started a couple of days ago. I've been using data since my unlimited got added.

I think this is going to be easy to plug and backfill when AT&T decides to do it.
There are two many weird things that go on with it.
1.) There are two data items in the OLAM. For legitimate grandfathered people there are only one.
2.) The phone changes all by itself occasionally from IPhone 4 to dumb phone in OLAM.
3.) For at least one person the data plan changed back to Iphone 2G plan.

This seems to be very buggy.

I was grandfathered in from my 3GS and this problem occurs all the time. It happens if you check the account when they are doing maintenance.

If you call them, do they have your dumb phone listed or your iphone 4 in the system?

On this problem, they will have your dumb phone listed even though you still show having the Iphone unlimited plan.

AT&T - If AT&T determines that you are using an iPhone on your account without an eligible data plan, AT&T reserves the right to add an eligible data plan to your account and bill you the appropriate monthly fee.

I guess this is how we get the unlimited. lol

Hey, Nrwrit3r, Could you read my previous post about the data usage and tell me if its supposed to be like that? I find it weird that one of the deactivated data plan usage is going up. My unlimited(not deactivated one) isn't going up.

Data doesn't constantly stay updated. Sometimes it can take a few days for data to update so it is likely that it is just now updating to show the total usage on the deactivated data plan.

No 3rd text. It could just be a system error of some sort. I would just stop worrying about it until the next billing cycle. It's going to look a bit messy until then.

att seems to have plugged the hole, or in better terms fixed the system glitch, the unlimited data trick no longer works, it seems to reset back to the 2GB plan every new bill cycle..........

Was told by an att store manager, but take it for whats thats worth.......

I am starting to believe it tho with all the weirdness going on in OLAM............I don't think the plans will stick for anyone doing this after today............ Also the folks may have some pretty high data bills for a month or two,

No ichris asked for an example of someone's who DID work - so I posted mine which went through no problem. During the "inprocess" billing cycle it showed the deactivated and then the new unlimited.

As of 8/2 (my new billing cycle) it just shows the unlimited data plan

If they did plug the hole I'm guessing that's why I still haven't gotten my text messages. Going to give it a week and then call in and give up.
