Well, that sounds like good news. I still don't know why no one has gotten a shipping notice yet. I still trust what you said in your post is 100% true.
Sorry man, I wasn't trying to be rude, honest. I just thought about the last time someone posted a comment like that and a 100 new posts came down the wire and people got ticked off and the comments got really out of hand.

Hey Guys, I found this online.I don't know if this is reliable or not but at the bottom there is a person who talks about their experience with the Vapor 4 case.

Black/Red - that's what I am getting - BUT - I am thinking of getting the Yellow/Black combo as well. Any mention of dates for that combo?
That's just a general press release stating that the product is "coming". Nowhere in the article does the author say he has the case and that it's a review.
I want to order a black and red, but I am not getting a e-mail so I can order.
There was a link posted MANY pages back that you could use to place your order BEFORE receiving the email from Element that they were ready for your money. I don't know if that link works any more - but it did for several weeks.

Edit - Looks like it doesn't work anymore. I guess they figured out that a lot of us were skirting the system!

I got mine already, been using it for a couple of days. I would take a picture but I dont own a camera.
Right...How about take a picture of your so-called received case with your iPhone and post it here so we can see it. Otherwise we call BS!
Not to throw salt on a wound, but all of you who have had their cc charged need to check on the max time allowed for submitting a chargeback for goods not received. I did a quick check and found info stating 60 days only. After that you need to jump through legal hoops. I remember it being a year before, but that was back in the 90's.... Just food for thought as this gets dragged out longer and longer.
I just called Element a few minutes ago and they were very nice and professional. They told me I am in group 2 (order 4xxx) and that it should ship by the end of this week. They are doing their best to make that happen.
By the way, that ship date is the same date they told me on July 6 when i called them to ask some questions about the case (I had placed my order on July 5) so as far as I am personally concerned they are not late at all -- not for me, anyway.
Mine is a black and pink by the way!
Also I did confirm that I will receive a shipping notification from USPS once the item ships. So there is no reason, I think, for any of us to expect to receive anything until we get a shipping notice.

Problem is that they said the first batch shipped last week, and nobody who uses the internet got a notification or their case yet.
Just wanted to mention that I have been reading this thread since the beginning and I have not received ANY shipment or any other email from Elementcase.
My order number is 26xx and put in on July 1st.
Pretty sure I would have been in the first group(s) shipped.....nothing.
I also chose the fastest black/black combo which hasn't helped either.

If we are to believe the emails and conversations with Element posted here are really from element than the time lines don't really make much sense. Group 1 would have gotten shipping notices ages ago. To date there are no pics anywhere on the web of the Vapor 4 case, not one. When shipping really starts many of the frequent posters here will reply here immediately.It will be like the shot heard round the world. I'm sure we will start seeing those shipping notices this week. If we don't than I call a big BS.
That's really odd. Might be your junk mail filter. I've not ordered yet (and won't until I see some reviews). But I did register for preorders back in late June when all the hype began. You know, just for the hell of it.
I got the "now you can order" mail early July followed by two more emails explaining the delays, etc. You should have at least received these three mails.

As they are independent manufacturer, they have a small staff and a limited production capacity.
They are still working on the exact status AND what's more important they will have a FORMAL UPDATE SOON but I think i can get the information earlier than customers and reviewers.

12 vendors for parts??? From the renderings it looks like 2 metal pieces and some screws... Probably some rubber inside of the metal to keep it from contacting the iPhone directly. Care to spcificy how there's 12???
