Honestly, at this point, anyone who's joined MacRumors within the past month has ZERO credibility when it comes to information relating to this particular vendor / case.

John Gruber just got one in, he said it was made out of cardboard and superglue with the side piece being magnetic and not bolts.
I am still waiting for sizzurp to post his pictures of his element case he claims to have received. He has had a few days to figure out "the Internet machine" and his failing camera. He is too busy on other threads talking about all the 3GS cases he has or is buying.

How do you know you're one of the firsr people to order just because you ordered July 1st? They told me they released the Vapor a day before the press release of july 1. Which could mean 100s or even thousands of people could have placed orders before july 1. What if your order # correlates to the order in which it was received? So that would mean you're the 2000 something customer? I doubt you'd be in the 1st Group..I mean really...how many cases you think they can ship out in a day? I doubt 1000. When i registered I called to confirm and they said I was # 17xxx for just registration, not pre-order..that scares me because God knows when I'll get to place my order let alone receive the Vapor. I have no idea what my # translates to
I was actually able to place my order and payed for it.
They didn't go to the "registration" mode until later that day.
I got an email right after thanking me for my order....which also had my order number on it.
I never went through the email that says it's time to order.
Hopefully I was one of the early buyers that will see one sooner than later.
some guy just said 4xxx orders will be going out at the end of this week via phone call.

So that means i should be getting my F#$^%$#%$ tracking # today, since my order # is 26xx. I ordered blac/black also, and was told mine was suppose to ship at the end of last week, or early this week. Tuesday, is the last day of early for a week. lol, if it gets to wednesday, that means its the middle of the week. So today is suppose to be SHIP DAY DAMNITTTTTTTTT
Oh and to comment on the Order #'s. Rarely do companies start their order #'s with 1's. So if someone had 2000, it may actually be the first order
