I still don't understand why so many of you are getting all worked up. This is the way I see things.

1.) The company Element CASE posted on their web site that they were taking pre orders for July and that you needed to Pre order by filling out an online form and they would e-mail you with specific instuctions on how to place your order. The way I see it is that this was how the company was trying to control the order process based on their production limitations.

I have to ask. How many of you followed these instructions and received this e-mail and ordered per the company's instructions? I placed my order AFTER the company sent me an email along with a link to their store telling me how to order. What I have noticed is that many of you used this very link that someone posted in the begining of this thread (and are still trying to post) that they received in an e-mail to place your own order. I beleive this caused an overwelming demand on their product along with the delays due to waiting on Apple to see if they were going to do a recall on the iP4.

Has this company kept us up to date with the problems they are experiencing? YES THEY HAVE on their web site and via e-mail. Did you follow the company's ordering instructions via a specific e-mail sent to you? NO, many of you did not which caused the overwelming demand and now your pissed because it is taking so long.

2.) Many of you are pissed because your charge card was charged for the order you placed incorrectly. Are you aware that there are many web based stores that are set up so that when you place an order the processing software and company automaticaly moves the funds you agreed to directly into their account weather the product you ordered is in stock or not? This is exactly why you have the option of doing a "Charge Back" if you are unhappy or no longer want the item.

3.) Why is it that so many of you assume that a few people that posted that they received their case or posted an obscure partial picture of the product think it is a representative of Element CASE? Do you actually have evidence of the accusations that you are throwing down?

I am sure that there are many that have posted in this thread that have no intention of placing an order but are just here to stir up strife and have harmful malicious intensions just for their own entertainment. If you have ever taken the time to read some of the other posts in other threads that some of these members have posted, you would see for yourself that it's mostly what they post about and very seldom offer anything that others can benefit from.

If you can honestly feel good that YOU YOURSELF have not contributed to all this B.S. then I commend you for your integrity.

12 vendors for parts??? From the renderings it looks like 2 metal pieces and some screws... Probably some rubber inside of the metal to keep it from contacting the iPhone directly. Care to spcificy how there's 12???

wow easy, why are you attacking me. I am just a messenger here. I just deliver what has been told to me. ElementCase replied to an editor from Engadget this. I should have the email he received by thursday.

There's plastic packaging, a cardboard insert, printed instructions, a dust cloth, etc.

True. More dishonesty, or at least lack of communication with customers. A different week a different story.

I have to say I agree. I placed an order and paid for it after receiving their official email. I called them twice, once right away and once earlier today, and their replies have been consistent. Clearly they are late with their earliest orders, but they are not alone in being slammed with backorders for iphone cases.

Points well taken F1 Speed. I for one bypassed their requested ordering protocol. But standing by in anticipation of receiving one awesome case.

Hi all. I just wanted to check in and see if anything has changed on the Vapor fiasco. As expected, we continue to hear rumors of "any day now', "started shipping a few days ago" and as of the time of this post, not one legitimate post from anyone receiving their order. So, my question for today is, who has given up and asked for a refund and if so, has a refund been received?

That's just a general press release stating that the product is "coming". Nowhere in the article does the author say he has the case and that it's a review.

Definitely a marketing/publicity release and not a review.

This part gives it away:
The leading provider of custom, high-grade accessories for Apple iPhone and iPad,.........

...the vapor requires 12 different vendors for all parts and components...
Yep, that's twelve times a day all the wah-wah boys will be kicking themselves in the butt because all the hot chicks are ignoring the Vaporless!

Vapor 4 .... it's nice!

Picked up a Griffin Reveal 2nite to hold me over. Only problem is I can't use the Zagg IS with it, but oh well, sendin that crap back in for a refund anyways.

Hmm, lemme see. I am trying to say that there will be more than a reply to costumer's messages to elementcase. They said they will give a FORMAL UPDATE SOON. I am just trying to help out here.

Hey man. i'm guessing what you are saying is we are about to see a review soon.

Guys, please keep me focused on this case, Idk why, but I've been comtemplating cancelling my order, or selling the case on eBay to try to make a profit, etc. Help me get back on the path :(

Not trying to bust your ballz. If you have an inside track to some legit news, that would be great to hear. With all that has been going on in relation to this case, a little skepticism is not hard to come by. Thanks for posting.
