Who’s doing the censoring? Unless it’s the government, then there’s no problem. You are not entitled to use resources owned by others to make your speech. End of story. You don’t have to like it, but you do have to live with it.

So I can’t take a moment to go online and check comments of the latest “big thing” and point out that adults are acting like children?
It’s not a waste of time if I can convince even 2 people to get along put their differences aside and possibly find some middle ground.
Of course you’re also free to waste your time the same as everyone else. Just don’t get too offended when others point out the hypocrisy.
You may as well just say "I'm on the left!". What use is this? I could make some retort saying "truly spoken like a facist who always wanted to control what people think and say and now you have the opportunity to hide behind the oppressed while you do it."
But what's the point? We shouldn't have to have a left vs right debate in order to decide if one side of politics is going to censor the other on Twitter. Neither should censor the other, period.

Incitement to violence isn't allowed on Twitter and never has been. As for hate, well, hate is a human emotion. And while it would be great if nobody posted hateful things on social media, the problem with enforcing it is who enforces it? The people who should least be doing it. The kinds of people who have no problem thinking they're far enough above the rest of us in order to control what we can all think and say.
As bad as hate is, it is not worth putting those people in control.
I said "how is it right?", not "how is it legal?".
Why should one side of politics censor the other side of politics?

Musk can't just walk away from buying Twitter, despite a $1 billion reverse break fee attached to the deal.
Musk was still dumb enough not to do any due diligence of any kind before signing the agreement, as reported in many business related websites and articles.
Apple is patently evil, and so is Tim Cook. It's about time this evil empire crumbles and is finally replaced. GO, ELON, GO!

What does that have to do with whether or not it's morally right for an elite group of people to censor one side of politics and not the other?
We all have a responsibility to society, and I don't think creating one political class that can speak and one that cannot is a morally defensible goal.
Societies don't go in the right direction once you start doing this.
I'm asking why it's right, and saying they shouldn't do it. I'm not asking someone to make them do anything.

If musk gets held under microscope, same needs to be applied to Tim cook. Hence I don’t agree with off topic.
Tim wants to take a stand against musk. Then same level of judgement needs to be applied on him and apple.
