I'm not sure if you are referring to me as "indicative that there is more behind that statement." If you are, stop it. I've clearly said my opinion and your constant need to try and extrapolate an argument out of everything anyone says is ridiculous. You're right. It is disturbing that people think it makes sense to remove an app from the App Store just because the owner isn't 100% in agreement with them!

It’s embarrassing how many people don’t read anything or just have some weird love for Musk.
Are you naive enough to believe that there's no subjectivity with how terms of serviced are enforced? Otherwise we wouldn't be seeing accounts previously banned for TOS violations returning to active status on Twitter.

I appreciate his feats doing things differently as far as success goes. But he his mostly irrelevant on peoples lifes outside the US and shareholder circuits. I see a lot of his cars around where I live … they look like cheap Ford Escorts from 15 years ago at a very high price … is just not good enough for me …. even with the help of gov sponsored tax benefits for being all electric.

The thing is... walking away from threads like this doesn't change the fact that these people exist... and... vote. And... possibly (re)act.
I feel a bit like a broken record after the last ~3.5+2.5 years specifically, but I have very very little hope for humanity left. And that hurts quite massively for this idealist.

I hear ya. But in the end, personal wellbeing has to first and foremost. I used to do the Twitter thing ages ago, but can't do the toxicity of it all, too much.
There will always be some that will take it too far, like we saw on January 6th. Hate to think that, but unfortunately that's reality. The odd part is how folks attach themselves to these wealthy "so called leaders/self made" types thinking they have anyone's interests at heart, when all they really care about are themselves and making money.

Can you back that up with facts? Because the fact is there is only one CSAM monitor left in Twitter. Liz Wheeler is not a trustworthy source, so come up with some real facts.
I think it's pretty clear he is being vilified because he has stated that he will no longer vote Democrat. Now whether people in here want to admit it or not he clearly became their target due to the fact that he has openly said he isn't going to support that political party anymore.
Why really smart CEO’s listen and respect the janitors of the world. I am not the one complaining about time, Elon is whining big time about it. To your point, he is a Narcissist and will never listen to anyone but himself. Finally, rich is a terrible indicator of the quality of an individual.
You can’t change these people, there’s no point in trying. These people have always existed, and they will continue to exist. You just have to walk away from whatever place they are inhabiting to minimise their impact.

If Musk (or anyone else) complains that Apple should legally be required to advertise on Twitter, then that would, of course, be ridiculous. I don't see any evidence of that happening.
Newsflash: A very large proportion of people is not from the US and couldn't care less about their internal political circus...
