General Evasi0n team speaks

I doubt Saurik releases a jailbreak of his own.

No sense in wasting another exploit.

He will update Cydia because it's his baby and still has his name on it.

Let the story come out in full with all players giving there side before junping to conclusions who screwed whom
 
if only evasi0n team had their own cydia... might be good to have some competition won't it.

They just dragged him through the mud! Epic shade at its finest.

Side note: Cydia needs to be burned to the ground. It's absolutely horrendous, and always has been. We need a sleek, more efficient alternative ASAP.

Except they've been a bit thick in releasing the jailbreak before 7.1 final. Now Apple will patch this by the GM of 7.1 and saurik will be screwed out of whatever exploit he and his team were saving for the final release, all because evasi0n wanted to rush to be first.

I'm against the whole piracy and stuff but they do deserve money for what they do. They bring a free jailbreak to everyone and it's not easy with this whole cat and mouse with apple. But I do agree they should've been more upright with it and the whole china fake AppStore is a real bad look.

It is not whether or not they do it for mont... But, the lies that is infuriating people...! Every jailbreak I have always donated to the developer... This time I won't... Also, they have managed to get politics into a community that run on the feelings of a brotherhood...!

The best state is to keep calm and carry on.

The JB is out, better to kiss and make up than keep fighting, the way i read it there is truth in both the evad3rs and in sauriks postings.

Let the dust settle and do what is best for the community.

They have always maintained that they do not want money for developing a jailbreak... Although I have always donated because I believe you should never do anything for free... What they do with the money (donate it or not) is none of my business... I have donated small amounts (5-10$ at max) but, I have... And now they say that they did this because they always make money...

If Saurik wouldn't have streamlined the unofficial apps we might not have had a strong jailbreak community...
 
I think the biggest issue everybody is having is that they teamed with a Chinese company. Then on top of that, it comes out that their app enables piracy.

The mixture of Chinese and piracy leads to fear and mistrust which leads to the mess we have now.

IDK, but they manage to piss off a lot of devs in less than 12hrs.

They really did. They pushed something out to the public before Saurik and any other dev could , ahead of a 7.1 update basically screwing everyone else.

Kinda ****ed up. I see both sides.. honestly its not for any of us to judge.. we're the consumer at the end of it all and maybe nothing but good can come out of this for us.


My concern is .. is Saurik going to continue to contriute to Cydia on this new jailbreak , or only do this for a new jailbreak when another dev does the job.
