Nahhh I didn’t bother with a sun shot because it simply washes out, no shift. Once you stop comparing it to those other bands it doesn’t hurt the brain so much.
At the risk of a fusillade from the pin-and-tuckists, can I just say how much better a vivid color like Nectarine pops on the under wrist without all that hole business.
It also helps that Nectarine solo loop has a bit more vibrance than the sport band, if a little less saturation.

As someone with tiny wrists, this makes me very happy! Much more likely to get one of them now.
Yeah, I have small wrists for a guy. So I’m kinda indifferent to it. But could be an issue for big guys. It was def noticeable since my 7 other sport loops are all exactly the same size.
But like… haven’t sport loop sizes always varied? My CYR is about an inch longer than my others of the same era. I think you’d need a bigger sample size than a few displays to confirm it’s something for sure.
They definitively shortened them after year 1, and this looks like they’ve done it again.
They did change sizes and got shorter in 2018. But have been consistent since then.
I checked every model from this year and they’re all exactly the same size… about 2cm shorter. That’s as big a sample size as I can test on personally.

Finally got to visit the Apple Store and got myself a Bright Green SB.
However, the QC this time is really bad. An around 1cm long grey stain was found on the S/M band when I unboxed at Apple Store. Then the staff offered another for exchange. But turns out there is another longer darker stain across the M/L band this time. So I grabbed the perfect M/L from the 1st box, S/M from the 2nd, and left.
But when I got home, I found another stain on the pin side of the band. Should I go back to Apple Store again to exchange?

Does anyone have a comparison of the Deep Navy vs Abyss Blue solo Loop? I'm torn on which one to get. My only blue band is a Gen 1 Midnight Blue and I like it's color a lot, especially with the red apple watch so I'd like a similar color just in the Solo Loop Variety.
Bonus question: Why is it so hard to find the Black Solo Loop these days?

This is from before my current era of color-selective editing, so I’ve cropped out the offending Orange and Spicy Orange, but I think the rest look fine, especially for a color comparison.Weird request: any shot of the old Apricot SB compared to the newest orange bands (like Marigold, Vitamine C, Kumquat..?)
