@toxtrepla is famous!! Guys, we have a celebrity among us!

Mine says the warranty has expired--but that doesn't make sense because these come with 2 year warranties and this model was released less than a year ago. I think it's because I haven't submitted a purchase date on that web page.
Weird. I didn’t have to input anything. You may want to give AppleCare+ a call and ask to speak with an admin analyst.

Just wanted to share some pics of some of my bands on a newly acquired titanium watch (from one of our own well known forum members here!). I am now a big fan of the titanium!

I feel titanium works with pretty much all bands, including the Hermès brown band, sapphire blue band, and even the Stainless steel link bracelet due to it mostly being a brushed finish. A big Ahhhh moment came when I realized how well the stone leather loop (also recently acquired from the good gentleman from this forum) works with titanium and the edition california watch face. I will be rocking this look for a while!

Get a $14 titanium refinishing pad from Amazon and you can smooth away that nick on the bottom rail...bonus it’s a very relaxing exercise, though you do have to pay attention and lock your arm to make a straight brush.

Good tip! I did try some scotch brite pads which worked from some lighter blemishes (there weren’t many) but I will be buying the refinishing pad that’s known to work for that one nick that’s still present. Hoping that’ll do it!

I’m pleasantly impressed...there were so many stories of scratching in the titanium AW5 thread, but so far the titanium seems pretty scratch resistant other than that bottom one. Ive been wearing it for a few days. And ”polishing” it with the said pads and/or scotch brite seems like a much easier thing to do than stainless steel.

Yes!! I love it with the classic buckle and the Hermès! Echo @athousandbands tip on the brushed titanium refinishing band. You could also probably brush the lugs on those two bands to give it a consistent finish with the watch if you care to. As I learned the other day with enough time and elbow grease you can shine a brushed finish to a mirrored one, which is to say if you give them a brushed finish you could always polish them again if you decide to sell those bands one day.

Thanks for sharing that with me!! That’s crazy to see! Awesome. Hope it brings more users into the collecting fold.
Welcome! Cool to see a nice story on it, despite the subset of haterz on the r/AppleWatch post! Speaking as a fellow band addict, I am certainly impressed!

These are today’s arrivals - probably nothing too exciting for you old-hands...

Peach, Beryl, Hibiscus, Khaki and 1st Gen Red.

Pleased to get a sealed Beryl for a third off retail, as its technically a current band. Khaki was from Amazon Warehouse and I was pretty surprised that the Red was unworn, given what I paid for it (is it weird to unbox but leave the plastic on until you wear it?)

I think my wife might fancy a Hibiscus too...

With these, I tip over the 100 mark. I implore any other newbies not to follow me down this dangerous path...
Ahhh Hibiscus, the one that got away. Can’t seem to find a 40mm Hibiscus anywhere 🙁

So peeps, is it fake, or is it real? Has 42mm mark. Lugs are metal. Velcro I believe should be dark blue, but is pink o_O

One of the few I’m missing so I can’t compare, but its a launch model so they do run quite a bit longer.

I’ve yet to see a fake have the size marker on it. Hope it stays that way!

Possible a user replaced the lugs or something?

Here is an ebay listing. Note the Velcro strips. https://www.ebay.com/itm/143529611347

This was a $10 gamble so, not too much pain. Just very curious at this point.
