There is another way to check it’s very hard to read but there are markings on the lug when you press up on the middle part

Crazy. Do you have a close up pic of the size badge?

Is there a lunatic gluing these on fakes? I’m stumped. I didn’t think fakes had that spot where the top threading ended before the loop, where the 42mm badge goes.

unfortunately no, it was 4/2018, even then it was hard to find them, they were going for well over 150 at the time.

So peeps, is it fake, or is it real? Has 42mm mark. Lugs are metal. Velcro I believe should be dark blue, but is pink 😵

Maybe it's just the angle of the photo, but it looks like the velcro is a bit off-center.

It is. And as far as I know through multiple contacts, he velcro is supposed to be blue, not pink. A head scratcher.

Maybe it’s a demo or prototype? I mean it’s highly unlikely but possible for all we know.

I have never seen a fake with size markings so this is concerning.

Trips me out that the lugs are metal, and painted mind you. I spied a spot with shiny metal where the pink was scratched off. I had a few fake loops before going oem, and only one had metal lugs, the rest were plastic.

She’s a seller on Mercari (and Reddit). Wasn’t sure if it was legit or not, either. She didn’t know the color name, I did. Didn’t do much follow up, figured it was probably legit and she didn’t know what color it was. Took a chance, not even sure what the outcome was 🧐

So a Cactus band I bought from Mercari just arrived, and I cannot get the bottom band to snap in. I don't hear a click and it doesn't lock in. Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this?

OK this is weird. Neither the S/M or the M/L piece will lock in! The side with the pin is fine, and my other bands are fine...

The M/L side has wear on it, so it was able to work, and the S/M side (which I want) is brand new.

I would return it. The 3 bands I got from Apple did not want to slide in easily and my replacements work properly. This has started with the bands from March. I thought they had a new factory, don't know, but, I have been very unhappy with this latest snafu. Sorry you got a bad one.

You may want to try pushing on the center connector to get the metal lug to show. I was having issues with a band, did that a few times and it started locking ok. Not the loud clicking locked sound, but the band did lock.

Well, I’m having an issue with an eBay seller.........

On 6/26 I ordered two Apple ‘green’ sport bands, new, from the seller. The package arrived today and there was only ONE strap (set of 3 normal bands but should have been 6 total).

I immediately messaged him through eBay but haven’t received a response. In fact I’ve messaged him twice during the last six hours. Mind you, he has about 1300 reviews and over a 99% rating. He’s also sold tons of bands. I’m surprised I haven’t heard back. Trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.....maybe he’s used to packing one strap and did not looking properly at my order....maybe he has a helper packing stuff. Who knows.

Anyway I had a claim opened via an eBay agent stating part of my order was missing so the seller has a few days to respond. I’m obviously annoyed and mad.....especially as one was meant for me and the other a surprise gift for a family member. And the color isn’t easy to locate.

Should I rather just dispute via PayPal? Not even sure how it would work as I paid for two but only got one.

OK, at least I got the M/L half to finally connect. If I wear it on the smallest hole, it's slightly big, but it's bearable. Still, 🙁 The color is gorgeous! This would have been one of my fave bands.

Well damn, from now on I will make sure the band actually works before rating the seller and finalizing the sale! I never knew that was even a thing that could happen!

i really hope they do a close the rings nike band next year like how they did the pride band, it would be cool, they could do white 1 year and then black the next year....

Unfortunately, this year it appears they’ve gone back to shirts. The challenge was delayed, but when it does happen employees will get a shirt with this design:

Maybe I’ve just been unlucky but there seems to be less in the way of deals and hard to find 38mm/40mm bands here in the UK.
