Does anyone know whether the woven nylon bands work with series 5 watches? I am in the position to buy the black woven nylon one (last available Summer 2017), but it was discontinued right before the series 3 was released, so I'm worried that perhaps the fit isn't right.

I read somewhere that the classic leather buckle and the woven nylon bands were discontinued because the fits aren't perfect with the series 5, so any images you guys have would be appreciated as well!

The fit isn’t always amazing because the s4/5 lug opening is pitched at a different angle and is a different depth, but I use many nylons and leather buckle bands across the different body types and only a few of my plastic lugs give me issues. You’ll run into just as many issues just trying to slide plastic lugs across steel/ceramic as you will shape/size fit issues.

Omg. Chargerstore has a 38/40 mm marine green! Except I recently got turquoise and it’s too similar. Sigh. It’s also pricey considering how many other bands I got recently - 89$ - so for these reasons I will forgo.

Looks great. I’ve never seen midnight in person but I love navy. I’ve become much more comfortable with my Milanese loop but I still prefer the sport band for comfort.

The warranty I dealt with a couple weeks ago. Thankfully it seems I had an easier go than you did with that. This is for the band. Thanks for the advice!

For the band, I had to open a service ticket by providing my serial number and what the problem was. When I said I needed to order a replacement band, they set it up as a "self repair" and charged me for the part and shipping. I'm still not 100% sure they are sending me the correct band, despite their assurances. I can report back when I receive it later this week and tell you the part description on their screen if it's the right one--that will save you a LOT of time if you call in so your rep doesn't have to search through photos and check with supervisors. Apparently, they don't get many calls on the ceramic model and are not knowledgeable about the warranty (2 years instead of one year) and the OEM band (with the ceramic pin).

She has still not refunded my money, despite cancelling the order last week. I now have to get eBay involved to get my money back. I hope I can leave her nasty feedback, despite the cancelled sale. She's really a piece of work.

Finally got my first classic buckle. It’s gorgeous. The surface of the straps are uneven, like having a punch on it. Does anyone know how to fix this kind of issue?

I think I may have picked up a bargain - but I am prepared to be corrected! I took a chance on an eBay seller with zero feedback - figured I’d rely on buyer protection if it turned out to be a fake account. Was the only bidder on a £40 starting price - a few days later this turned up...

I cant get over how good the stripe wovens look on ceramic. They blend so perfectly.

Glad you finally got your watch! Looks classic apple mixed with new design with that band. Midnight Blue will always be a solid choice on gold.

I have what I think is my 3rd or 4th Saddle Brown on the way. I keep giving them to friends and family after finding out they’re not for me. I plan to actually keep this one and try to get myself to like them. Same with the sport loops. I keep wanting to like them, but ultimately choose a Woven Nylon or Sport band over them. Time to force myself to like them!

Also, are we going to completely gloss over the fact that we reached 400 pages? I swear we just hit 300 a week ago. We all need help.

I went from a titanium, which is the second lightest Watch to the ceramic, which is the heaviest and I honestly don’t notice a difference on my wrist.

Pay the extra for the titanium..stainless with a sport band can be heavier than a sport band and you really feel it. Unless you go 40mm...

Thank you. But I don’t want a titanium one, I like the mirror surface from the SS watches. The black Titanium one looks like a Aluminium Model for me.
