Apple Store online in my Country has it in stock again (but for 40 mm only). I've been wondering if I should get it while I can. Can I get some pictures of the Teal Tint in better light conditions, please?
Just been to the Apple store and they have a special sealed plastic sizing tool that they give you to test your sizing.
I ordered a braided loop in size 5 online last week but it turns out I’m a size 4 in both solo silicone and braided loop.
I bought a Cyprus green solo loop as it was in stock but they don’t have any braided loops in store at all. The solo loop is crazy comfortable!

After initially getting an ETA of November, my Solo Braids (Inverness and Atlantic) already arrived. While everybody likes a bargain, I have to say, given the existing tiers, Apple priced these exactly right. They look and feel much more sophisticated and premium than the 49$ tier Sport Bands and Loops. On-the-wrist, THE GAP is only noticeable if you really look for it. Given the softness and braided nature of this design, I believe it is just impossible to close THE GAP completely. But who knows, maybe Apple will figure it out eventually; to me, it‘s a non-issue anyway. Also, the colours are deep and rich and just lovely. Highly recommended! (If you don‘t mind THE GAP.)
P.S.: I just love, love, love the clasp-less, perfect symmetry of the new bands.

Absolutely. If the Sport Loops are “sweatpants“ for the wrist, the Braided Solos are “cardigans“ for the wrist. Warm and comfy, yet classy as well.
Also, after the almost-black disappointment of Cyprus, Inverness is probably the nicest “darker“ green we ever got! Here it‘s inbetween Pine and Khaki:

Ugh I’m still not convinced that band is worth $100. But that green keeps calling to me...
Did I miss the memo about black no longer being in-style? No more SBSS (without going HSBSS), and no true black SB / LeLoo (leather loop) for ages..
iPhone 7 went from all black Jet Black to Space Grey where its stayed in varying shades since.
Honestly, SBSS to SSG is a very welcome change, seems like incorporates the best of both SS (reflective shininess) and SBSS (DLC coating). Coming from SS, it’s a not only a breath of something fresh, but also keeps what was nice about SS. If you prefer the now classic/older SBSS, it’s still there, you just need to buy a Hermes Watch
Does anyone have both the hyper grape sport loop and the purple pulse one? I'm interested in both but want to see which one is more purple. I thought there was a photo posted already but I can't seem to find it, and I don't trust apple's photo with the strong flash for the purple pulse shot.
Your concluding rationalization could very well be a business strategy, perhaps. Apple originally had the SBSS as only being available with SBSSLB, ie. forcing anyone interested to pay big bucks for it. I guess this could be viewed as a return to that approach.

The improved instructions say you should go for a 2 and let it stretch out over time.
Yes, the subsequent releases have not been nearly as black as the original that was on offer with the Series 0 (which is what I have and is a "real" black).
