I’m curious as to how often you receive what you actually ordered from CEX, I had two orders arrive today, I have placed a total of 3 orders so far from CEX and every single one of them wrong. I order a ceramic watch and receive aluminium, I ordered a a cloud sport band and received concrete sport band covered in some sort of grease and oil and lastly ordered coastal grey and received 2017 grey 🤦🏻‍♀️ lol, how often do they actually get it right in your experience?
I had poor luck getting a colour advertised from CEX, I think the band sent was not even authentic , though it was worth a try as the return was easy. I have seen better bargains in their stores, where things are often labelled correctly.

I just had a Google - CEX wasn't a thing when I left the UK and I'd never heard of it until today.

In the spirit of the same thing, I just realised I don't have White 2 in my collection. At least that's easy to rectify and Apple dropped the price by NZ$10 with the latest releases so I even saved money with my oversight.
White Gen 2s are as cheap as chips over here, just like Black and Pink Sand.

I got my wife and I open-box but unworn White Gen 2 bands for £10 each from... you’ll never guess... CeX

They were very useful at the start of the collection - less so now. They also gave me a good price for my Series 2 back in the day AND I picked up a dirt-cheap HomePod from them.

Oh, and I’ve just ordered what MIGHT be a Gen 2 Midnight Blue, but we’ll see.

Easy returns are their saving grace. Some of the fakes I’ve had have been truly horrendous, although one was an absolutely beautiful shade of Aqua that Apple have come nowhere near. I was almost tempted to keep it.

Yeah, I guess I could look for one on the used market. There really isn't much over here however, and anything eBay comes with shipping cost penalty. I've had a few UK eBay purchases - and my Cornflower 44mm from Amazon - through my mother's address, but I don't want to ask her to do that too often. If I go Apple direct then at least it ships for free and I know it's genuine and new.

Hey there! It took a little longer than expected this time, because I am somehow busy with, well, the app, but the newly updated chart is now freely available to download. 🥳

Check the full release notes and download the chart as PDF at http://bandbreite.watch/chart
  • Bands added: 48 new bands —with 3 new band types— from the recent Apple Event
  • Model number for Sport Band Pink (2015) for 40mm has been added
  • Details for Hermès Double Tour Bleu Jean have been corrected
  • A new size for selected Hermès Double Tours has been added (exclusively in Hermès stores and on the Hermès website).
If you find any mistake, or typo, or if you have suggestions for an even better color order system, don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks!

Thanks for your hard work! I want to sign up for the TestFlight version of your iPhone app. How do I do that?

Also, I’m another very happy customer of the bambou single tour from Hermès. It’s such a beautiful and elegant green

Ah yes, that makes sense - I’m always complaining that there are fewer bargains over here than in the US, but I suppose the pool of AW owners in NZ is an order of magnitude smaller again!

Always happy to help with purchases over here if need be though.

Yeah, the AW here is still relatively rare. I work in a technology company and only a small percentage of people I see around the office wear one. Also because we didn't get LTE support until last December we've been restricted to GPS only Alu models which may have driven the market further into the low-end. Most males I see wear a 44mm SGA with a black sport band, and most females wear a 40mm with a pink sand sport band, and they never change. On the positive side I've done quite well buying imported Hermes Watches for the included straps and selling the Watch with the orange Sport Band as the Hermes resale values here are even lower than everywhere else. We can't buy them new here, however.

Thanks for the offer of assistance - much appreciated. In reality I'm only hurting for Lilac in 42mm and Hibiscus in 40mm, and when I find those I'll probably be OK to wear the shipping.

Ugh, Stop making me want expensive things. Plus all SS silver seem to be pushed out until November.

So, to those of you who bought a new watch with a solo loop or braided loop

Prosser claims Apple is now offering replacements if you need a different size loop but don’t want to return the whole watch. All you have to do is call Apple.

here’s the cool part- because orders on the solo loops and braids are causing a lot of delays, they’re offering temporary replacement sport bands in Surf Blue or Cactus that you don’t have to return. So they send you the sport band, you send back the loop, and when they have one available, they send you the replacement loop.

And on a completely different note... does anyone want to help me get a free surf blue sport band?

In NZ? Yet you have ECG support!

That's more a function of each country's incumbent medical governance than Apple though.

I'm guessing you're in Australia and it still isn't approved there? To be honest I played with it half a dozen times when it first went live and haven't thought about it since, but then I don't have any cardiac health concerns so it's easy for me not to care.

I'm actually a little surprised NZ got it before Aus, because so often we share certification and approval for things that relate to public safety, and I assumed both countries would have approved it at the same time until I saw on here it wasn't available yet in Aus.

Actually I see from the ECG Australia thread that there is a suggestion Apple hasn't filed for approval. I don't know if that is true for not but it seems unlikely. From slightly south and east of Australia it looks to me like Apple always releases new stuff to the US first, and the most likely countries to get it at the same time, or soonest after, are the UK and Australia. In other words I don't see Apple ignoring the Aus market for ECG.

In NZ we got LTE watches in December 2019 and we still don't get Edition or Hermes even now, and we've never had HomePod.

To me this is the best colorway ever. And I never owned it. Celestial teal Nike Sport band:

When this was available I kept looking at it trying to decide if I should spend the money on it, then a couple of days before the series 5 announcement I thought, ok, this could go away, better order it. It was out of stock everywhere....

Still want this band and regret not getting it

Exactly same here. I actually was choosing between the celestial teal and olive flak colorway, and went for the olive. After having it for like a week it was just too yellow for my taste, like literal cartoon puke color. I went to exchange and they were out of stock. ....Everywhere.

I’ve seen them pop up very rarely on eBay, usually for over $100, and always used.

If you had told me when I first set out to get all the Nike bands that Light Violet would be the last one I needed, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. At first I thought Smokey Mauve would be last, but I found that one surprisingly quickly.

Anywho... here’s Celestial Teal in some warm lighting because of the red sky. Thanks, @athousandbands!
(for the band, not the fires.)
